Cheap plastics make this a very delicate clamp.
I purchased this to use my phone on a tripod. I have one left and with careful use it should last some time. Unfortunately the reason I only have one left is due to the construction of the clamp. It has been constructed from very cheap and brittle plastic! I accidentally dropped my tripod from waist height whilst I was carrying to another location whilst filming. It was dropped from any serious height but the impact caused the clamp to shatter into several pieces! The only thing that remained on the tripod was the gold coloured threaded sleeve that was housed inside the clamp. I think I now know why this is sold as a pack of two! Still this is a very cheap product that enables you to get the job done for very little money and with care should last a while.

Incredibly Sturdy!
This phone holder is perfect for my iphone 8 on its own or even in the super thick case I have. The rubberized grips hold it really tightly and it doesn't feel too cheap overall. There's also loads of versatility with the screw mounting options for my tripod, so for £3 it was a steal! It even comes with two of them so if one breaks, which I highly doubt it will, I have an instant replacement unlike my previous one.No this isn't a paid review, i just bought this to be eligible for free delivery! So if you're looking for something reliable and secure and steady, this is the product for you!

2 Smartphone Tripod Mount Holder Clamp Universal Mobile Phone
Clever design idea to avoid camera shake. Grip seems tight enough without damaging (I hope) sides of mobile phone. Can be used vertically or horizontally. Much admired in use !
