Color:Grey SIDE "LIGHT" BED RAIL - QUALITY, SAFETY, CONVENIENCE AND BEAUTY - One would think a bed rail to be a rather simple product ... not too much variation from one to another ... but to the designers at Babyhome (and any parent who has tried the Side bed rail against virtually any other option on the market) this couldn't be further from the truth. Attention to detail and quality contstuction is what truly sets the the Side "Light" bed rail apart. Starting with the feature that is part of the name, integrating a night light with your bed rail just makes sense ... one less item to travel with, convenient to tucking in your little one and shuts off automatically after 30 minutes. Corners are not your child's friend ... so side has rounded edges. Germs and dirt are unwelcomed anywhere, but especially in the sleeping environment ... so Side fabrics easily remove for washing and are durable and meant to stand the test of time. We all don't share the same style or decorate our kids rooms the same way ... so we offer side fabrics in a variety of appealing colors selected to fit with most any taste and decor. How about making beds and changing sheets. It's dual hinge will rotate down and out of your way allowing complete access without having to remove the bed rail. If you have a more active sleeper who presses against the rail, Side comes equipt with safety straps so that once it is fastned down it remains stable, upright and simply won't be pushed out. Lastly, taking Side with you is a snap. It breaks down to almost 1/3 its size and fits neatly into the provided travel case that doesn't make it look like you are travelling with a mini surf board. If you have tried other bed rails and experienced some of these issues then you will truly appreciate the quality and design achieved in the Babyhome Side "Light" Bed Rail. Looks great, built sturdy.
I ordered this bed rail specifically for co sleeping with a child in my queen sized bed.Its exactly what I was looking for.I was looking for something that 1.) did not look cheap and cheesy in my master bedroom. 2.) was sturdy and well made.Pros: - Bed rails looks great. I ordered dark grey, and it does not look obtrusive or draw attention in master bedroom. - Super well made, it is not rickety. It comes with straps to connect it around the whole bed. (i didn't even have to use them its that sturdy) - The light on it is fantastic. Perfect for quickly reaching out for quick illumination. (GREAT for nursing mothers! great for finding baby spit up!)Cons: - putting it together was a bit of a bear. You have to zip the cover onto the aluminum frame... it was almost like the covering was too small and it felt nearly impossible to bring the two side of the zipper together so it would actually zip. It might have worked better with another person squeezing it together for me while i zipped, but I didn't have a second set of hands at the time. I was cursing it the entire time.. that seemed to help.Bottom line: I would order it again and recommend it. Also-- the customer service is amazing! The charger for the light arrived broken. I emailed the company with pictures, and they shipped out a new charger at no cost immediate. IT CAME WITHIN ONE DAY. for real. That's awesome service.

Great quality, exactly as described
Great quality, exactly as described. I would have loved it if it worked with my specific bed frame. The mattress fits into the frame so that there is no way of installing it being flush against it as is necessary for my co-sleeping infant. If I shoved it inside the frame with the mattress, it bowed out. When I tried putting it on top of the frame next to the mattress, it folded over the bed and was not secure. I wish it would have worked out bc breastfeeding at night would have been so much easier with that handy night light

Very Pleased
The rail itself is very sturdy and reliable. However, IF BUYING BECAUSE YOU WANT THE LIGHT... The part where the charger plugs into the bed rail is a very poor design choice. It would have made far more sense to use a round push-in design, as opposed to something with threads that need to line-up. Toddlers want to be independent and learn how to do things themselves. A few misalignment tries was all it took for my son to break the threads/bend the metal on the bedrail's charging component. It was lose for a while, but now the charger just falls right out, so we can no longer charge the light! This is frustrating, as I purchased this bedrail specifically for the reading light!

Great bed railrail, the light on this works excellent! It's almost long enough to run the whole length of a twin size bed also.
