Amtech D2800 25mm (1") Mini vice, Blue

Typical Chinese very low quality product. Admittedly cheap in price but cannot fulfil function for which it was manufactured and therefore pointless.Why? - The holes which are drilled in the body of the vice and intended to accept the guide rods, were drilled so far out of place that the vice would not close. In recognition of this fault the manufacturer "remedied" this by bending the rods so that the vice could be screwed closed (almost, after a fashion).Pros - it was very cheap.Cons - it cannot be used and is not fit for purpose.Outcome - went into the bin.

Jaws don't grip like a more expensive model would. As a standby for it does the job.

I liked it but alot smaller than I thought is was going to be. I want to use it for holding items for my job.

Well as amazon will not let me contact them here is my review- I bought 2 of these vice and only 1 of them is usable while the other 1 is total rubbish with a top bent anvil. very poor quality... thank you China and Amazon

It was bought as a present for my partner, who is into warhammer. Always customizing things. This vice is very handy, like a third hand when cutting tiny models. Very good bargain.
