Red Angel AC Stop Leak & Conditioner

AC was leaking and the mechanic said it was the evaporater buried in the dash. $1000 repair. 3 months now and still holding. Worked great.

My car is a 2004 Mazda RX8. It had a very slow leak in the evaporator. The Red Angel appears to have plugged the leak, but it's too soon to tell for sure. However, after adding the red angel I had no cooling at all (the high side pressure would go over 350 and the low side below 10, which would shut off the compressor clutch). The extra 2oz of oil in the Red Angel was too much for the system and I had to remove the compressor and drain 2oz of oil out of it. I would use it again, but it should have come with instructions to remove 2oz of oil before adding it.

It was a waste of my money. It didn't work at all for me.

I pulled a vaccuum, it held well below the parameters and this product did nothing to slow the leak. They won't give the money back.

Our car had a slow leak, the a/c would work great for about one month, then need a recharge. I vacuumed the system, added one can of charge, then used a syringe to push in the Red Angel, then added more cans until the correct fill was achieved. Now, 3 months later, the a/c is still ice cold. If your system has a slow leak, this product just might fix it.
