In "Shazam: Fury of The Gods", the God Atlas has three daughters who like their ancestors have been separated from humans by the invocation of a spell. A golden apple haphazardly kept in the Rock of Eternity, a cavern-like place, can be used to grow a tree of life; possible of divine existence but not in a human realm where it is deadly. There is a staff that is capable of liberating the Gods from their isolation bubble, but must be pieced back together. This wooden wand restores magical powers. This relic that informs hierarchies of mystical processes and conciliatory relationships is the utensil of a soap opera paradise. Populations live under tiers of overpowers, and evil is reprimanded by obstructions and scatters in guileless lustre. The world's salvation is clumsily delivered without hesitancy by a clique of garish caped and lightning bolt patched heroes, who are teenagers learning about wisdom, skill, and super powers. These foster children live in peer cultures of Philadelphia and their constancy is spliced with alter-world speculations. What if one could cross the two realities? Link the world to such hospitality, so as to be a reliable intercessor in a plush sphere of superherodom? The highschool students of inheritance are adoptees to a loving couple played by Marta Milan and Cooper Andrews as Rose and Victor Vasquez. This brood consists of Billy Batson(young Billy pl. by Asher Angel), 'Freddy' Freeman(Jack Dylan Grazer), Eugene(Ross Butler), Mary(Grace Caroline Currey), Darla(Meagan Good), and Pedro(Jovan Armand). The young troupe have been given super hero powers by Billy, in his adult form(Zachary Levi), who in turn was 'championed' by a wizard, and this wizard(Djimon Houston) gave Billy control of the magic that had been usurped by the staff used by the Council of Wizards against Atlas, and his evil daughters. Billy's group don't shoulder their abilities to consummate skill, and as a result are called 'the Philadelphia fiascos' by the press. Billy and his siblings openly acknowledge that the press lies about things. The city of Philadelphia isn't given any reprieve as Calypso on her dragon turns the blocks around Benjamin Franklin Bridge into rubble. Relic treasures are sources of power and bind immortal and human interest-into wars, into quests. Here, in "Shazam" these artifacts are found within destruction caused by semi-related struggles, and quickly, a brief encounter becomes a defense or a retreat, now in gradations of bigger catastrophes. Billy has the Sentient Pen, an invisible scripter of scrolls, write a letter of appeal to Hespera(Helen Mirren). The note leaves out the main parts of the argument and includes the bantering of Billy and his brothers and sisters complementing themselves. Fortunately for Billy, as on many other occasions, the formidable Hespera is deflected by Anthea(Rachel Ziegler), the other goddess sister in a vexation of compassion. The family of heroes also known as Shazam are ineffective. Opposite to this meekness is a powerful scene early in the film where the children are walking down the street and shout "Shazam!" and shoot vertically through the sky like bullets. Anthea is like 'Freddy' Freeman(the super hero Captain Every Power). In high school they're kids over grafted with divine innocence and emit heightened friendship sensibilities. Anthea is played by Rachel Ziegler and is a goddess who is a modest model of assistance and she is able to make this portrayal logical, even as she exercises magic on a massive level. It is an exciting new style appropriated to the cast of comic book heroes. Zachary Levi as Captain Every Power Junior, as he calls himself, is a sculptured hero construed as being outrageously irresponsible, but his expressions of hurt or sarcasm never dilutes Billy's amazing posture which states-'not to be messed with'. Hespera, the second daughter of Atlas(Helen Mirren), is a constellation of tense meditative panoramas; arbitrator, negotiator, and spiteful longing. These are seen in Hespera's ability to direct Billy's attention in simple dialogue. Calypso, played by Lucy Liu, is a portraiture of iconic sage vision in staid posture, and driven by vengeance.

I really liked the first Shazam, it had charm and the entire world wasn't getting 9/11'ed with no sign of other supers living on the planet helping out.So what's wrong with this one? Besides all the WB politics behind the scenes that is.Well, in short, it drags. There are so many subplots just getting in the way of the main plot that halfway thru, you are just ready for the end credits.What's even stranger is the plot of the main villainesses, is to recapture a staff to fix their world.... which they do. So they won, mission accomplished.... but for no reason they decide to stick around and ruin the human world in petty revenge instead of just leaving and fixing theirs.Also strange is SHAZAM is an acronym for each God's power..... yet each person has everyone else's power, they aren't all uniquely gifted. Not a deal breaker but the movie tries to struggle along with "The Team" needs to work together.... but they really don't.Also continuing is SHAZAM's kid like antics when Billy is now 18.... so that's strange.Should you buy it? I'd say wait for a sale. It's not a bad movie.... it's just got some issues dragging it down.

We love to watch movies and needed this one in our super heros collection. Good movie and my son loves to watch it over and over.

This is a great show. Not my all-time favorite, but definitely one I'll be seeing more than once a year. The main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered the "Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy". However, when it arrived, it did not have the cardboard sleeve and it didn't say anywhere on it that it had a DVD or Digital Copy inside. So, I returned it to Amazon and ordered one from WalMart. When it arrived, it came in a cardboard sleeve that said "Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy" but when I pulled out the base, it again had no indication that it contained a DVD or Digital Copy. So, I took it to WalMart to open it there, in case it didn't so they could exchange it if it didn't. I was quite surprised that it indeed had a DVD + Digital Copy inside. If my copy from Amazon had come in the sleeve, I might have been inclined to open it before I returned it and I would have been pleasantly surprised. However, not wanting to open it if it didn't, I ended up angry because of how Amazon customer service "handled" my issue. Let's just say it's the only time I've been disappointed with their customer service... ever... because they couldn't just do a straight exchange. They were willing to exchange it for anything but the item I wanted, which made NO SENSE to me. Anyway... That's my $0.02. Just be aware, if you order the Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy that it's not marked on the case. Google the barcode if it doesn't come with a sleeve, to make sure they sent the right one, and then open it.

Just a warning…if you are buying this edition for the digital code, it’s only available for the U.S.A. only. Code is not recognized in Canada. Bummer.

Me llego en buen estado y antes de la fecha programada de entrega,. Viene con subtitulos y doblada al español latino .Lo unico malo que el codigo digital no es valido para Mexico, pero eso no importa trae Blu Ray y Dvd , y lo compre en especial. Aunque esta secuela no es mejor que la primera parte, cumple el proposito de entretener y ami me agrado mucho.

I bought the 4K so it came with the digital copy it extra money.when I opened its from the USA don’t spend the extra money on it because you can’t play it in Canada 🇨🇦. I have seen the trailer it looks good . I’ll rent it

Llego muy bien y con un bonito slipcover, de excelente calidad.La imagen es muy buena y se ve increíblemente bien, mejor que en los servicios de streaming. La calidad de la imagen es muy buena, así como el efecto HDR10 es correcto.El audio en inglés Dolby Atmos es muy bueno y potente, sin pérdidas de intensidad de señal o potencia del audio. También trae español latino Dolby Digital 5.1, así como subtítulos en ambos idiomas. El código digital es válido solo para USA.

Recién acabo de ver la película y pese a las críticas negativas la disfrute con mi familia cumple con lo mejor que es entretener y darnos un buen tiempo de distracción. Creo que pudo tener más escenas de acción pero aún así cumplió su compromiso y la disfrutamos.
