Bala Door Knob - PRIVACY SET - POLISHED BRASS

The door knob looks great but disappointed that it doesn’t come with a key as picture on the website. They give you a tool to unlock it!

Lovely door knob , great value and just what i needed for my door after searching everywhere to find them. good quaity and price.

Ordered 2 more as quality of these locks is quite decent and they fit very well. Went to local B&Q and similar types were less priced over there. However on closer look on the knob with key side realised the inside arrangement on that side of lock is quite less in comparison to other similar locks i saw on B&Q or homebase. What that means is less amount of space needs to be cleared on door behind the lock to make it fit. They fit quite well on all the doors which had initially door handle style arrangement (with no lock). Getting a door handle type lock arrangement would have meant boring the door with a huge hole plus you cant lock it from inside.

The maintenance man did not find it easy to install. Had to saw the wooden frame of the door. Also did not contain the two keys. Making a complaint to the manufacturer. You can only lock it with a knob inside

Excellent value for money considering the difference with DIY stores. Adjustable backset a totally brilliant feature!!

Good looking, lockable with key, require drilling big hoes on door which is a bit difficult on solid hardwood doors
