I needed more support in yoga and these blocks delivered. Supportive, no logo, no scent = winner!

I know, I know...yoga is not competitive. But when I was in class, I was less likely to use yoga blocks than I am here at home (my club shut down due to pandemic). I was tired of using books so I bought the blocks. I read about cork vs the standard blue blocks that my club had so I splurged to get these. Boy am I glad! They are somewhat heavier than the club blocks, but very sturdy. I think the weight gives me a little extra confidence. I am using them often, even in poses I feel have mastered pretty well. In the privacy of my home, I use them a little more often and find I am improving in both balance and flexibility very quickly. They allow me to explore nuance changes in my poses.

I have never used foam or cork blocks before ordering these after getting into yoga at home during quarantine. I can’t say how these will hold up over time since I’ve had them only a month, but they are not extremely heavy as I kept reading. I guess they must be heavy compared to foam ones, but I can easily lift and move these. They seem good except for a slight odor and a bit of a grit on the cork (negligible). They are helping me enjoy a few poses that I struggled with-forward lunge and bridge. I will update if the crumble with time.

I purchased these in March when my Iyengar yoga class moved online. These would have been the largest size bricks at the center. They're sturdy and appear to be very well made at a very reasonable price. I can add a pair of softer bricks on top when I need more height.I should also say that I was looking for blocks without any kind of logo and this is one of the few options.

I work out a lot, as well as teach dance and flexibility. These are the perfect alternative to foam or plastic blocks, they are nice and sturdy, they don't look dirty like a lot of light colored foam products do and they are great anchors, bolsters or weights during my fitness routines!

I have used these a couple times for yoga and they seem good to me. Not quite as fancy as the ones in my old yoga studio, but they also won’t be getting as much wear and tear as those.

I hate that most blocks are covered in logos but these are simple, minimalist, undistracting. They are pretty grippy but can also be a little rougher than some blocks because of that. Less comfortable but more sturdy than some foam ones for poses where you rest on the block for an extended period of time.I recommend them, most people should be happy with them but I think some would prefer the foam. For me the small trade offs are worth it to have less plastics around.

I didn't like that they were wrapped in plastic, since my motivation for buying cork was eco-friendliness. But other than that these are awesome sturdy blocks. I like the weight of them much more than foam, very supportive and I can already tell they will last a long time!
