Worth the money, highly recommended.
I have installed these on every exterior door to the house and on my office door (4 total). I love not needing keys. The price is right. They work well. It might be nice to have one that works with Alexa but the price for those is much higher and the benefit is marginal. You can set these to automatically lock after xxx seconds or minutes, so there is no need to have Alexa lock the doors.Pressure washing the house and one lock filled with water. It stopped working but I opened it up poured out the water and let it dry. It works again. If the door is not closed properly and the bolt prevented from fully extending, the lock gets confused. Just enter the code to unlock and lock it again to clear the problem. You might need to take the batteries out, put them back in and try again (reboot). Seems logical but it took me a little while to figure it out. I suspect a lot of the complaints are due to installations where the bolt cannot fully extend if the door is not closed exactly right.

A 67 YEAR OLD CAN INSTALL THIS!
I had HoneyWell Door Locks on my old house and loved them, so when I needed ones on my new Home there wasn't a 2nd thought. I had to have them installed by a Handyman at my old home because I didn't think I could do it myself, and it was very expensive! I checked around for the best price, and now I was looking for the ease of installation! Thank goodness for Amazon Warehouse! I didn't think I could afford more than 1 even though I needed 2, but the price on Amazon Warehouse was perfect! Now the fun part, can I install it myself? I reviewed several other Locks that had Videos of the installation and thought there was no way I could do this alone! Then I reviewed the Honeywell video. I thought I can do this, and if not I can trust Amazon to help me or I will return it with no problems! I'm glad to say after going over the video from Honeywell several times, what can I say I'm old :) , I DID IT! FYI ABOUUT THE VIDEO: I had some difficulties until I realized the Lock the video is about is not exactly the same as mine, but be patient the parts are all there just not in the exact spot as the video shows. I feel very safe now in my Home, I purchased 2 and can't wait to get the perfect day, when its warmer out :), to put the 2nd 1 in! I shared my experience with my sister who also purchased 1 and will be helping her put hers in this weekend! I live in a Senior community and can't wait to show off my new door locks to my neighbors who are my age, and assure them that they can do it, if I can!

There’s ONE really good feature of this lock!
This Honeywell deadbolt is NOT a smart lock so you can’t use Alexa or open the door with your phone. You walk up, punch in your code and it unlocks. That’s about it. After using many like this including fancy smart locks, the stand out feature of THIS Honeywell is, without question, the SUPER LONG BATTERY LIFE! On my first one the batteries lasted like 3 years! I’ve had the second one for 6 mos and still going! Seems the same as my 1st one but this one seems faster and quieter!🤗 My $200 smart lock has about 2 month battery life! It’s cool on features but swapping batteries gets old! Might be less than 2 mos…not sure. I’m ready to give up the smart features and only use this one. Never (figuratively) having to change batteries makes this a superstar! One negative is it said keyable to my Kwikset standard lock but it was not! Don’t care too much about that. Would and will buy this item again.

Not worth it
This keypad stopped working in under a month of using. The bolt would not move unless manually done from inside, even then, the lock would be extremely hard to lock and unlock. Setting up the codes was pretty difficult to do. I suggest looking for a different lock instead.

Works well so far.
I’ve got both Kwikset and Schlage smart locks at much higher price points. Now, my mother in law wanted a similar deadbolt but without the premium expenses. Honestly, I didn’t think there was a motorized version for $60 and the Honeywell looks a lot like similar Schlage products. With some reservations I went for this design and bought two (front and back door). Installation was typical and the only thing that appeared different was the need to set the engagement direction manually via dip switch. (It’s inaccessible once fully assembled.)The lock has a normal key cylinder and can function like any other deadbolt (without the smarts). Add four (4) AA batteries (not included), and the keypad comes to live to drive the motor connected to the deadbolt. When installed, make sure the bolt engages and retracts relatively easily. If you have to turn the key with much force, the motor will not be able to overcome the resistance and the lock will fail. Make sure the door latch pulls the door closed and not the deadbolt. (Also, when trying to open the door with the bolt engaged can put too much friction on the bolt to prevent it from fully opening.)The keypad and overall use is well suited for less technical folks that struggle with finger print readers etc.. the lightning of the buttons is somewhat uneven but sufficient.I’ll update if/when problems arise but so far so good.

Nice Electronic Lock.
It’s too bad this is only offered used, I got one missing parts so it went back.I liked the one button lock feature.Had good luck with Amazon used items until now. Sometimes you win sometimes you loose!!

Unit has failed after 2 years of use
This was a really quality product for the time that it worked. But about 3 months ago, it started randomly retracting the bolt, and ultimately became unworkable. I tried to reach out to Honeywell through their technical support email and never got an answer. This lock is too expensive for having only lasted as long as it did.

Easy installation
This lock looks beautiful and was fairly easy to install. We just bought it so it’s too early to say how well it will hold up to the weather elements on the finish but we were impressed with the excellent directions.
