Replacing an old microwave. Smaller but still very good.

Preset buttons for units of time make it easy to use. Heavier than I was expecting.

Was slightly smaller than expected, overall good.

Needed this in my hotel room as I was a long stay guest - served its purpose and was easy to use

My old budget microwave had come to the end of it’s life so it was time to get a replacement.My old model had a digital display and physical dials to set time and temperature. It is hard to find a model that does that anymore. All either have dials and no digital display or a digital display and buttons as is the case with this model. A digital display I feel is important as you can precisely set the heating period you want.It all seems to work well but there is one irritation. There is a child-lock. For years I have been putting in the food to microwave and setting the amount of time to heat before hitting the start button at the point my other kitchen activities are primed to finish at the same time.I can’t do this anymore. The child lock kicks in after 1 minute to reset the time selected and prevent the ‘start‘ button working until I open and close the door again. The selected time setting is lost as well so that has to be put in again as well. I now have to set the timer and start button just before I want the microwave to start doing it’s thing rather than just hit the start point when my other food preparation is at the optimum time. It probably won’t bother many people but it is something I wish I could switch off.Update:- Digital clock no longer displaying a bar of the most significant '2' properly. Dropped a star. Can't be bothered to return it.Update 2:- After 5 months use the microwave has stopped working. No matter what I do I cannot get it to start. Pressing the start button 'bleeps' but nothing happens. The settings can still be set but Start does nothing. The display is still faulty. So I am replacing it.; Return window long gone. I won't buy a Sharp Microwave ever again and recommend nobody else does either.

Fantastic price great size, easy instructions, easy to use, great delivery time.

Fits perfectly in our kitchen and works great had a few issues with the lock feature but once read on it it's working perfectly and the digital buttons are much easier to use if u have arthritis in hands much better than knows.

Great size for small kitchen but after only 8 months the start button is not working correctly. The timer runs down but the microwave doesn't start or the button doesn't register at all. Very disappointed.
