Spalding NBA Silver Outdoor Basketball

Loved the finish of the ball the logos are nicely presented and stamped/printed etc and the bonce factor is amazing 👌🏼 And it doesn’t loose air at all, not that I’ve noticed. The kids use this ball 🏀 on the streets etc. As well as on the outdoor courts. Update. Ball still holding its Air. As for all these other negative reviews on this ball/item, I think 🤔 it’s operator era. Let me explain. When you inflate these balls you must moisten the needle (with your saliva, NOT regular water). Also take your time inserting the needle/filling probe, and make sure it goes in straight and not of Center as this could damage the balls valve. Also buy yourself a dedicated pressure gauge to check the air pressure inside your ball 🏀 you CAN NOT guess this. If you over fill your ball it will (if not straight away) eventually burst 💥 And you don’t want that to happen, especially if you bought the more expensive indoor only Basketball 🏀 I’m including an image of the ball pressure gauge that you can buy of Amazon for less than £15.00 excluding delivery charges. Ps. You need to read the black portion on the pressure gauge (this lbs psi) Not the red numerals 👌🏼 ok..... Hope this review and advise/information has been helpful 👍🏼

Lovely great quality

There's not really much to say other than this basketball is great for outdoor use. It's very durable and easy to inflate. I use it on a shoddy gravel court (possibly the worst surface for a basketball) but it holds up well. Let's not forget it's also an official Spalding NBA licensed ball, so it has that going for it too. Finally, at the price you cannot go wrong. Great quality at a low price. It's a winner.

I used to play a lot of ball, thought it was time to get back on it with the nice weather; so picked up the NGS silver. I was a bit weary of all the bad reviews, but I pumped this up, shot some hoops and through the week it's not dropped any pressure, and only shows the wear you would expect for the outdoor surface. It's got great grip, hold it in one hand, perfect weight, nice and responsive, I would recommend this without hesitation.

This is a brilliant ball, easy to inflate and good in general to play with. I have had this a month and it seems to be going flat every day, I put some water on the valve just after pumping it up and its making bubbles so the valve has broken inside the ball. A bit disappointed because its not exactly a cheap ball. :(

I bought this outdoor basketball to bring a little variety to my morning run. Given its price point, I am extremely happy with the purchase. The best thing about this basketball is that I am now able to shoot three pointers. This is more due to the fact I did not have a basketball previously. The worst thing is the fact I still cannot slam dunk!

It’s been 22 years since I dribbled a Spaulding and it’s reassuring that in this time the quality has not been compromised. This vulcanised orange ball of fire is just what I needed to get back in shape. As I only bounced it twice then capped my knee it’s been a beautiful additional to the car boot awaiting the return of Yorkshire Larry Bird. Nothing but net. Boomshakkalacka

PROS: Decent value for the price, bought two, one for me and one for my brother. Handling the ball was fine, it had solid grip and the thickness of the material felt sufficient enough for the price point. CONS: Markets itself as an outdoor basketball, but the grip has worn out after around 2 months (playing only around 2 hours a day) to a point to where a beach ball probably has more grip than our basketballs. One of the balls we bought also deflates incredibly quickly for a basketball (for example it goes flat when not in use for around 2 weeks). In comparison, we have had friends using basketballs who played with us and bought their basketballs at the same time as us, and there basketball's have lasted significantly longer (although these basketballs were upwards of £75). CONCLUSION: If you have less than £20 to spend, this ball shall probably last you a summer holiday in terms of grip and is perfectly fine for that function. If you have more money to splash and want a ball that'll last longer than a couple of months before it is unusable, there are probably better alternatives.

Lo uso spesso per giocare outdoor, è un buonissimo pallone nonostante il prezzo contenuto. Non capisco perché ogni volta che non lo uso, anche per un giorno, si sgonfi completamente. A parte questo problemino resta comunque da comprare.

Bueno, antes de nada, he de decir que antes de realizar esta compra estaba muy desmotivado con el baloncesto. El día que me llegó este balón fui con unos amigos a la cancha y ese fue el punto de inflexión para que yo me animase a ir día a día a la cancha, y desde que me compré el balón he mejorado muchísimo. Mi porcentaje en el triple ha ascendido considerablemente, desde que me compré el balón he subido desde 15% a 54% en triples. También he mejorado mucho en el manejo de balón gracias a su magnífico agarre. Ahora estoy en un equipo y me ha llamado la selección regional. Totalmente recomendable. Calidad/Precio totalmente recomendable.
