First a thankyou to everyone who answered my question about this holder. Your responses helped me decide to buy it and I am not disappointed.It looks more expensive than it is.It is much sturdier than the kind of holder with separate shafts fixed to the wall.I bought this to replace one of those which kept working loose.Because this is a fixed unit with a back bar fitting securely on the wall, the replacing of each toilet roll does not gradually loosen the screws.It is so easy to fit.No fiddly little screws under the shaft. Just two along the back bar straight into the wall.I just used the self drilling style plastic rawlplugs to go into plasterboard first and then screwed in this holder with ease.It comes with two screws and the basic plastic wall plug but for plasterboard I prefer the other kind (also bought from Amazon.)The bar is spring loaded and I find it very easy to remove and replace.Looks good too.

We have been using this roll holder for over a year now and it looks and works as good as new. The spring-loaded central bar makes it a very simple job to put in a new roll. My only gripe was when the toilet roll was coming near to the time for changing it would dispense the last few yards/metres of paper on to the floor. This problem was resolved by adding a few elastic bands, out of sight, to the central bar. This extra bit of friction was enough to keep it from “running out”.

I bought this to finish off my newly fitted bathroom. My husband had no problems fixing it to the wall and it looks great. It's been in use for many months and works perfectly. The removable bar has a strong spring inside which holds the toilet roll firmly in place with no fear of it falling out when you pull on the roll. Looks stylish and is well made. Would recommend.

Matches my tall radiator, weight of product prices sturdiness especially with two screw fixings. A little expensive though. I know you pay for what you get. A shame they don’t do it in gold/antique too

Last week I bought one of these exactly the same from a well known plumbing shop for the downstairs loo, i was so pleased with it that I decided to replace my old tired looking loo roll holder in the bathroom, sadly but fortunately for me the shop had sold out, so I came to Amazon and low and behold I found it here, the fortunate bit is that it was for half the price I paid in that plumbing shop .This item is good quality, well made , mine had the wall fixings in a small bag in the box it was delivered in.I am well pleased and so is my pocket.
