ESAB Sentinel A60 Welding Helmet, High Impact Nylon, Large Viewing Area 4.6" x 2.8"

My eyes are bad now and welding was almost of the cards for me. I actually had an older Esab mask probably 5 years old. This new helmet not only did not hurt my eyes but gave a view I didn’t even think was possible. I’ve been a welder for 35 years. I don’t believe you could find a better one. I love this so much and I’ve never really had an opinion and just thought a mask is a mask. This is probably my seventh mask with auto darken. I especially liked the battery box wax so easy to get at.

Après 4 ans avec un casque GYS, je suis passer sur de l'équipement un peu plus haut de gamme et je ne regrette absolument pas. Le champs de vision de ce casque est génial. Très léger et agréable. C'est un budget mais n'hésiter pas. Reste à voir sur la durée dans le temps mais la qualité a l'air au rendez-vous. Je recommande.

Excellent welding hood, I'm an ironworker doing maintenance/ fab daily in a scrap yard. All position welding MIG AND SMAW Stick. I've had this hood for a little over a month and it gets used and abused. Issues: 1: The ratchet system on the head gear feels cheap, but as long as you dont armstrong gorilla grip tighten it to your head youre fine. It's holding up with no issues👌 2:Lenses do scratch pretty easy but not detrimental to use. Since it has a round face setting it down will/potentially give it small scratches depending on how hard you put it down or what you put it on. One month in heavy use still on first yellow lense. My solution keep the carry bag close set down on the bag if setting face down. Lots of life left in first lense and yes I have done alot of vertical and over head welding with no issues. If someone is, pull your head out of your weld puddle. 🤙 The good stuff: Top three: 1: Light weight oh so nice, flips down smooth, adjust you head band and in out and this thing fits like a glove. The weight centers directly over the top of your head so less neck fatigue. I was so used to linclon, miller, and Jackson flippers I didn't really know this was an issue. But its nice. 2: Visuals are crisp excellent dim/clear timing grind setting works great, very nice stiff tactile button have never accidentally grind flashed my self in tight places. 3. Great for tight spaces and the in out adjustments are perfect for a respirator, no more under flash from mask hitting respirator. All in all I was skeptical and worried going from viking and digital infinity but always wanted to test drive this hood. I highly recommend this welding hood I will be trying more esab products.

Came in perfect condition, with everything in the package. Works as it should, its my tig helmet so its going to hold up well.
