You can change your actual Light Bulb with its base and replace totally with this new Lamp. The Lamp, is sealed and there is no way to replace the light assembly if damaged.

Although not dimmable, is there any way to adjust the light level?

I would have to say no, it can't be adjusted. It's not so bright that it would be bothersome.
