JML Mood Magic: LED Colour Changing Candles - Timer & Flame Flicker Functions 3 Pack

These are real wax candles and look pretty realistic, with natural cream coloured wax (the product picture shows the candles when illuminated with different coloured light). The remote works very well, and is fairly directional, so it's possible to control each candle separately if they're spaced far enough apart. Otherwise they all react to the remote at the same time. I like the auto timed switch off - it's what made me choose these over most other led candles, that and the real wax. They lose their appeal if you have to go round switching them off manually in my opinion. They have two modes - steady light or changing brightness. It would be wrong to call it 'flicker' because it's more of a slow random pulse in the light level, which I don't think really looks like a flame inside. I prefer the steady state. By judicious use of the remote, switching from pulse to steady at the right time, you can set each candle to a different steady level of brightness - I prefer to do this so the candles are not at peak brightness - I figure the batteries will last longer this way too! And if you switch off using the remote, when you switch on again each candle remembers it's colour, brightness level and mode. Overall, very pleased with these.

The product itself looks pretty good and I am sure it will be once powered up. However my beef is the way it was delivered. I requested next day delivery which was fine but when handed to me on the doorstep it just had an address label stuck on the outside if the original box, no wrapping at all. So I didn't specify when ordering that this might be a gift but certainly there is no mystery when the product is plain to see from the illustration on the outside if the box then the gift idea is given away! Shame really.

love the colour changing aspect but batteries on't last long and at 3 x AAA for each candle so 9 at a time does make them rather expensive and the only batteries included at point of sale are for the remote control panel.....only had them less than a month and must have gone through at least 2 dozen batteries already

Recieved these yesterday! Impressed! Pretty colours and fab at Christmas time (but also good for other occasions) only gripe is it required 3 AAA batteries per candle ! Defo but again in fact order another set for family

The candle remote does not work, so have had to get in touch with the firm to purchase another remote control. This was very disappointing as it was to be used for Christmas.

Disappointed it did not advise that 9, yes 9 batteries as required. I bought three sets and therefore had to purchase 27 batteries which added to the cost of the candles increased the price. Very pretty though.

These are not quite as good as I was expecting, when they are on the same colour glow they are not all the same shade which is a bit annoying.Prompt delivery

These are lovely to use in any room to create a "Mood". Not only used at Christmas but all year around. They are so good I now have 3 sets of them!
