The item was the exact color I wanted and the quality is good but disappointed as I thought I was buying a UK manufactured not made in China. This item is labeled Portmeiron a wall know British company 😭

Bought these as an add on to the drink mats & they make a classy table setting.

I saw something like this in a catalogue but the price was really high. However, I wanted something on my holiday table, and my daughter pointed out that Pimpernel seemed to be the name she saw for this type of placemat. I went online to Amazon, saw these and noted the very reasonable price. I ordered and they came very quickly. So far very pleased.

These were bought several months ago, and were kept in their packaging, and brought into used three weeks ago, after moving house. After 3 weeks of daily use, three of the placements have become damaged. I have had several sets of placements in my life and have never seen such poor quality. None of my previous sets of placements were damaged in this way; when wiping with a damp cloth after a meal, the surface has peeled away on three mats, where there are raised bubbles which are then burst when wiping with a damp cloth. These mats have not been subjected to heat or heavy use, and have been taken care of. I will need to replace the mats, and I'm unlikely to buy this brand again.

Great table mats, very nicely boxed and presented. Fast shipping and delivery. Very pleased.

What can you say about placemats!? These are evenly coloured, the blue is around the edges as well as top, they feel robust enough. I have used them once and they took a wee bit of cleaning after a roast dinner but come up as new.
