Decent keyboard
Great keyboard, however, doesn't come with key lighting. That isn't too much of an issue other than if using in the dark.. Other than that it's very responsive.

Decent entry level gaming keyboard written by a gamer!
Im a 42 year old gamer who made the switch from console to pc a little over a year ago and this was my first keyboard, and im very happy I chose it,The pros, Decent weight and feels very sturdy, I have my keyboard on my lap so doesnt rock around or feel too much.Separate Volume and Macro keys, I switch my FN so media keys are permanently enabled.Decent gaming responsiveness, although I was a console gamer I have used friends rigs so Im aware of switch types. The cons, RGB lighting is virtually non existent, small under keyboard bar and alienware head symbol, you can customize this as a game button but ive never botheredThe keys are Brown switches, not fun to type on but for entry level gaming I performed fine. The control centre for macros isnt very easy to understand ... at first, once id youtubed someone else and realised it was drag n drop your preferences it was a doddle!!Im leaving this review as im actually upgrading my keyboard shortly and ive been browsing around, for me I need a usb passthrough and a headphone socket for my desired setup however if it wasnt getting irritating not having these id more than likely stick with this keyboard for another year or so as its still performing perfectly and im a heavy daily gamer, hundreds of hours in fps shooters, world of warships, red dead 2 etc etc basically its had a hammering of use and I dont feel any loss in my gaming performance for having brown switches they are still tactile and responsive but not clicky, more linear when pressed.Overall I have to give it 4 stars by the sheer fact that is performed so well with heavy use and still looks and acts like new, a little overpriced probably but thats Alienware for you, I bought it for the name yes and was well aware I was paying a little extra for that but its done its job well.
