Q: i have a 7yr old is she too big for this???

She probably would not be too tall for it, but she wouldn't have a lot of room to play in it.. I have an 18 month old and it is perfect for her, but it is really too small for her and a friend to play in together when she has a play date. I wouldn't recommend it for a 7 year old.

Sorry I don't have it any longer. It did not hold together well. I would not recommend buying it.

Q: what fabric is the tent made out of? does it have a plastic smell when you open it?

It's almost like a linen/cotton. Doesn't smell like plastic at all there's really no plastic on it
