Just when you think syma can't get any better..This little drone is beyond belief. The altitude hold and auto launch work way better than technologically possible. I've got $200 drones that don't work half as good as this thing. It flies itself all you do is steer. And it does most of that by itself too. That compass it's got works great. You hold down the headless button for 2 seconds and no matter how bad you're confused and it's turned around when it locks onto that compass it goes east when you steer east no matter what. It takes 6 inches max to do flips. It's Crazy powerful if you do decide to run the throttle yourself. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

This is my first drone so I have nothing to which I can compare. I love it! In fact, between me and my boys, we have three. (My wife got me one for Christmas too!) Absolutely no issues after almost a month of having. In fact, they have taken quite a bit of abuse, banging into walls, ceilings, and many objects that get in our way =) Ours came with extra blades, but we’ve not yet needed to replace. We have used great care when connecting and disconnecting the power, as I read from other reviews how the adapter occasionally breaks internally. We have had absolutely no problem with these, and we LOVE them!!!

I absolutely love this little copter. I'm a newb to the drone scene, but was interested in checking it out. I bought this as an entry-level copter so I could get a feel for control and such. This may LOOK like a kid's toy, but it is NOT. It zips around super fast (again, I'm a newb, so having it swoop from my kitchen to my living room is pretty awesome to me), and the controls feel good. The controls are a bit "loose", but that does not have to do with the controller...the controller is fine...but the copter is a small thing, and if you are near ANY kind of moving air - A/C vent, indoor fan, ceiling fan, etc - you WILL see/feel the "wind" batter the copter around. This isn't a knock on the product, just things that newbs need to be aware of as they get into this hobby.Overall, if you are looking to break into droning, or have any kind of interest, I recommend this 100%. It is NOT a kid's toy, regardless of what it looks like. Everything works exactly as expected, I had no issues with delivery, and I haven't had any reasons to contact a customer service rep. 5 stars for providing me with plenty of enjoyment for my money's worth.Oh...short battery life...but that's any/every drone on the market. Buying a bunch of spare batteries (or spare drones, Mr. Rockefeller) is pretty much the first step in the drone hobby.

This thing won’t fly straight for anything. I’ve tried over and over to get the settings right but it still won’t work. Once it’s on, it should be able to hover, but no matter what I do the thing flies off to one side or the other and the trim setting function seems useless....

First Impressions: It's a cute little drone with some nice features have me convinced it will be great for training & practice. I was a bit frustrated that there is a screw in the battery cover (and no tool to remove it included) - that seems like a hassle considering it's recommended that you remove the batteries when not in use. I've only tested it out briefly so far, but was impressed with how quickly it charged up the first time. I'm looking forward to flying it some more.

The USB connector came off inside the craft this was the first time charging. Shaking it caused the thing to smoke and smell bad. Took the top off after a couple of days cooling, the metal USB connector welded itself across something, melted some parts.Simply Junk. These products do not seem to have much quality control. Looking at the PCB, there was no solder on the USB mounting tabs, the tiny bit on the two pins was all holding it. I really wonder about some of the truth contained in reviews on here.Designed for failure with no care for consumer safety.PS: I'm a retired electrical engineer.

I bought 5 of these for gifts at Christmas. I have them all today - I opened one for myself and cannot get the screw to open on the remote to put batteries in it. I opened a second one to see if Ao could open the remote to put or exchange batteries in the remote. Couldn’t get it open and definitely had the correct screw driver. I am sending all 5 back for this reason. Total disappointment- don’t buy this product.

I tried this and it was so much fun! We crashed it several times trying to get used to it. Turn the power down on it until you learn to maneuver. Still it is alot of fun! I recommend this product.
