RSP Quick Release Neuro Disc Rear Wheel - Black, 29 Inch

Problem I have is this, a week after I purchased and fitted the new wheel the frame (cannondale mountain bike) broke in half 😆 lol i can confirm the wheel was great up until this point! Bought a Ragley Big Al replacement 👍

Firstly, this wheel has 19mm rims. Nineteen millimeter.That's not wide for a modern wheel. The most generous tyre manufacturer's (WTB) specs say this should be good for anything up to a 2.5" tyre (insert exclamation mark). Most other tyre manufacturers and most riders would heartily disagree and recommend you put nothing wider than a 2.1 or maybe 2.2 on here.Having said that, I fitted a 2.3 Maxxis DHR II for kicks and while some folk may not like riding this kind of profile, I'm loving it! I've put this wheel through some seriously rocky trails and rockier gardens at speed and so far it's handled everything like a champ. (I have a matching front wheel ("hand built" from Raleigh) which has a 2.3 DHF on it; also spot-on).Secondly, it's loud. Beautifully so. Your riding buddies may well get jealous and consider upgrading their own wheels. It feels firm under torque and hasn't ever slipped. There's no play or any other noise from the hub; only the lovely sound of those clicking pawls.I can't stress how much of a difference this one attribute has made to my urban cycling. I remember as a kid jamming lolipop sticks into our rim brakes to get the sound of a "motorbike". It's like that. Am ambient soundtrack, audiblisation of your ride; the madly spinning freewheel of a post-sprint downhill or the stealthy aproach into a tricky street corner; click, click, click...On the practical side, peds (pedestrians: for the translators) can hear you coming, which saves me activating my Massive Honking Horn when forced to share carridgways. This can only be a good thing. You don't want the horn (actually, peds love it!).Installation was easy. It's a pity there's no option to have a NON-QUICK release skewer. Or no skewers. I have my own (security locking skewers, as I live in a city). I'll need to find someone to take this unwanted object. *sigh* Lose a star.People! Even a budget wheel fitted with decent rubber is worth around a hundred bucks. Why would you facilitate its theft by providing quick access? For your "convenience"? Madness! Come on! Rant over.This wheel looks great, runs great and even has eyeleted rims! I've had more than one comment from cycling buddies on this, as well as om its looks (lovely. If you run Maxxis rubber, set the 2 opposite logos at 90 degrees to the 2 logos in the wheels for maximum head-turning effect!).For the money, I challenge anyone to find a better wheel. In fact, such good value, I need to put back the star I removed earlier in the review!Surely someone can use my spare skewer!--ps. i needed a wheel asap halfords over tightened my spokes and my rim cracked at 16 eye lits i have just built the wheel up with putting my gears on it and disk break and i must say i am very impressed with the build quality of this wheel the wheel even has etal rings in the eye lits for aesthetic looks and finishes the wheel lovley i well deffo be coming back if theis wheel breaks but i doubt it very happy very impressed it arrived the next day and i ordered it it at like 4pm and was still hear the next day

just what I needed, straight swap over with 12 speed cassette, tyre, inner tube, fitted perfectly onto bike 👍

Emergency replacement as OE spec wheel failed spectacularly and works fine

Totally crap

Runs true and good quality. 10speed compatible.
