viceroy bedding 100% Egyptian Cotton, CLASSIC STRIPE Duvet Cover, White, Super King Bed Size, 400 Thread Count

After really liking the Viceroy fitted sheet, I bought this matching duvet cover, which feels wonderful as well as looking good.It lost a star because the bottom is sealed with buttons, but the buttonholes are not well sewn. I much prefer zips or press-studs, which are easier to use, but buttons are OK so long as the buttonholes are properly trimmed. There were too many loose threads on mine.

At first I was in agreement with other reviews regarding the lovely look and feel of this duvet cover. However, after two days I noticed that the seam at the top of the duvet was coming apart. I considered returning it but as I had thrown out the packaging decided to repair it myself. On turning the duvet cover inside out I discovered pieces of material and binding attached to the seams in various places and just hanging. In my opinion either the quality control at the manufacturers is very lax or this this duvet cover is a seconds. I have bought duvet covers far cheaper that this one and much better made.

This is the second time I've ordered these. They are a great size and have the lovely silky feel you'd expect from a 400 thread count. The duvet cover, oxford and housewife pillowcases came as a 'bought together' item but I had to order the flat sheet as a seperate item. I was therefore charged an extra £4.95 delivery. So it was a bit galling when the entire order came in one packet. Perhaps the supplier could investigate how they could avoid this in the future. That's a separate gripe however. This is a product review and the product is defnitely worth five stars

very comfortable

great bedding;reallly comfortable. However I object to very expensive carriage they add. Each item carries postage. They don't seem to bulk items up and so reduce costs. so a fifth of the cost can be carriage. The White Company; a direct doesn't charge carriage if you spend over a certain amount

I like the duvet cover. It's soft, comfy and looks good on the bed. Would recommend it.

Comfortable to snuggle into, good value for money and arrived quickly - what more can one want?
