What is the thread count?

I don't know the thread count but when I pre-washed this fabric it çame out of the dryer with very little fraying and hardly any wrinkles. To me, these signs feel like quality material. I have been impressed. I hope this helps.

in my opinion i would not use this fabric as napkins. it is very stiff and rough to the touch. it is also very thin and wouldnt be very useful as a napkin

It is not, more like something you would line a project with. I used it to make heating rice bags and made a cover with a softer material. It does not have a lot of stretch like a tshirt. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Does this muslin for doll head ?

I personally feel it would be too light for the head. If you plan to use it as a 1st layer then it would be ok. It’s a very light fabric

This isn’t cotton. I purchased the fabric specifically for dyeing, but it barely absrobed the color at all!

Good value for the money and great to be able to get in a pinch.

Better quality fabric than I expected. It was firm with a high thread count. The finish was good. Use them in quilts and I was very happy.

Firm white cotton

Cotton is thicker than expected but useable for backing of small quilting projects. It’s quite stiff for quilting but maybe ideal for testing a dress pattern. It’s also about 54 inches wide. I washed it and it stayed firm, so obviously not starched.
