It does what it says, I used a PS5 controller on my PS3 & tested a game, all is smooth & great 👏Tip after successfully pairing:-Deactivate the PS3 controller after unplugging it completely from PS3.-Mark the PS5 controller (or any other) as a different number than the original PS3 connected earlier.-When turning on the PS3 after turning it off, use the power button on the device not the controller.

I have used on my Playstation 3 with xbox one controller and ps5 controller wirles and wired too much lag
