A lot of recent reviews mentioned this cap running too small, but I found the fit to be perfectly snug. It offers just the right amount of gentle, 360-degree compression without feeling overly tight or restrictive.My routine is to put this on right before laying down in bed, and it is comfortable enough that I usually fall right asleep wearing it. The big selling point for me is the use of actual individual ice packs rather than standard solid gel inserts. The ice packs maintain their temperature significantly longer than gel caps I’ve tried in the past. In fact, they stay cold long enough for me to drift completely off to sleep before I ever notice the temperature starting to drop.If you want reliable, long-lasting cold therapy and a secure fit to block out light and tension, this is an excellent choice.

So I pretty much never leave reviews, but after buying this hat for a third time--I have to!This thing is amazing. I've tried so many different hats--the ones with liquid in little pockets can get so uncomfortable if the water freezes in a weird shape but the ones that are made of gel warm up SO fast that it's almost pointless for me.This hat is like the perfect compromise between the two, very comfortable and it stays cold for SO long. The only reason I've bought 3 is because I have a tendency to use them and then not put them away so when I end up needing one, it's not cold :(I think the first one, I've had for over a year now and it's in perfect shape (especially if you keep it in the provided bag, it definitely keeps the freezer-smell away) and the moment I even have a hint of a migraine, that thing is on top of my head.I really really cannot stress how much I love this thing.

I bought one of these last year and it was great. Doesn't stay cold for 2 hours but definitely stays colder than the average gel pack. Since it's so helpful and takes quite a while to refreeze I thought I'll get a new one. Well, I don't know what they changed but it's now COMICALLY small. Like I'm not sure a baby could fit this on their head small. It perches on top of my hat like some kind of novelty hat headband.So I filed for a refund and let amazon convince me it must have been a one-off and they'd send a replacement. Okay sure. Well except that it's the exact same thing. Absolutely comically small. No give at all so it's not like it can be stretched out. So I guess I'll just be happy I have one, and find something else for my backup, because clearly this company has ruined this product. Shame.

It's a hit or miss with these, I have 3. The sizing is all over the place. 1 is large and fits great, not too tight, loose. But the other two are small, won't go down past my forehead. The one that fits perfect was my very 1st one from 5 yrs ago and still going strong. The other two are just good for putting on my head and cooling me off when I've been working outside. When frozen solid, they'll last up to 2 hrs inside, an hr outside.The mfg should do better with their sizing and offer S, M, L & XL.I've tried the gel ones out there and they're just a waste of 💰those don't stay cold for more than 20 min; which does absolutely nothing when you have a migrane.

It's been great.We are a family of three that keep this product in the freezer and forget about it until any of us has a headache.It stays cold for a couple hours in ones head and its very helpful when it comes to bringing down the pain of migraines or regular headaches.

There's no way this is fitting on anyone's head unless they're a child. I use it as a hat & it does stay cold for awhile. I still like it. It isn't soft though, you can feel the frozen cubes through the cap. I'm not sure if you're planning on using it for migraines that it won't hurt, between the tightness & the frozen cubes. If you need it to go over your eyes, that's probably not gonna happen. I use it to help keep my body temperature down. For that it works great.

Amazing item. Very sturdy and comfortable. Can sleep in if you have one of those days that a migraine seems to be extra and provides long cooling relief. Bought two of these and definitely worth the money spent.

Love it! But I have an average sized head. If you have a larger head, this might be too snug on you. It is snug on me but I like that. Before I got this ice hat, I would tightly tie ice packs to my head during migraines. Also, I think it's more accurate to say it stays cold for 1 hour of wearing it, not 2 as stated. If you miss ice on top of your head, you can always place a smaller ice pack inside the stretchy pony tail hole. The ice cubes in this hat are not gel. They're individual soft rubber blocks filled with water that cannot leak. They are not as soft as gel to lay down on, but they stay cold much longer than gel. Totally helps migraine pain! Worth every penny. Comes with a sturdy zip lock to keep the bag in to keep freezer smell away from ice hat. Use this bag! Don't throw it out when unboxing.

Nothing like this just a very thin cheap half mask in the same colour. Impossible to send back. Total theft

Gone through a few of these because they always warm up quickly. So I have a couple in the freezer. Bought this one and it stays cooler much much longer than any other.
