I had gotten some pomegranate candies in a gift basket around the holidays. I decided I liked having them around when I had a cold recently and I was sick of sucking on lozenges. These taste great and are a great substitute for me. They obviously aren't medicinal but they give a little something when I just need something extra to coat my throat when it's itchy. I talk on the phone all day at work and these are nice to keep around.

I love oranges and orange flavored stuff. After stealing my kid's Vitamin C gummies because they tasted so good, I figured I should find a candy to satisfy my cravings without overdosing on Vitamin C.I appreciate having an organic option without junk ingredients. Hard candy is a great way to satisfy a sweet or tart craving without a lot of calories. These are 15 calories each, and much better than Jolly Ranchers, which have corn syrup, artificial flavors, and artificial dyes. The ingredient list on these reads: organic evaporated cane juice, organic brown rice syrup, citric acid, natural orange flavor, natural blood orange flavor.I usually buy the Torie & Howard organic blood orange & honey candy, and thought I'd try this brand for a change. The 'Go Naturally' brand blood orange candy is GOOD, but it's not GREAT. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the Torie & Howard candy has a much more intense orange flavor. The 'Go Naturally' are sweeter with an undertone of orange flavor, and the Torie & Howard are more tart with intense orange flavor. I prefer the tart orange to the sweet. If you like sweet, then these are for you.For the money, these are a good value. A single 3.5 ounce bag is currently $6.25 on Amazon, which is $1.78 per ounce. You save about $1 per ounce by buying this 6-pack.If you're like me and prefer a more tart candy, try the Torie & Howard. Also organic and a good value. You can see in my photo that they are dark red in color, but they are colored with red cabbage and purple carrots, so no artificial dyes. The rest of the ingredients are comparable to the 'Go Naturally' candy. T&H candy comes in smaller 2 ounce tins, but are cheaper per ounce than a single 'Go Naturally' bag. If you eat candy often, you'll want to buy in bulk. T&H come in bulk, but they are big 5 lb. bags. I may have to bite the bullet and buy a bulk bag.

Between open windows and my husband's love for sleeping with a fan on, this summer brought me a lot of mornings waking up with a soar or scratchy throat. They are menthol with pure honey on the inside and double the size drops. Very soothing! I received the ginger flavor as part of a gift. The ginger was very noticeable and wonderful! I decided to order some as well, but what I received barely had a noticeable ginger flavor. I'm so disappointed that the ones I ordered are so different in ginger flavor intensity. Both orders were from the same seller.I also ordered honey-lemon. They taste sweet but not lemony.

These are good candies and definitely worth trying. However, they are not bursting with flavor. On the other hand, they are very pleasant and soothing.These would be nice to take to someone who is in the hospital, or who is sick. Being sick or in the hospital frequently creates dry mouth and these would be greatly appreciated.I also like the size and the fact that the candy is easily removed from the wrapper. I quit buying a different brand of organic hard candy solely for this reason. Not only was it hard to find an opening in the wrapper, but the hard candy would stick to the wrapper after you had them for a little while. This gave the impression that the candies were old.GoOrganic candies don't do that. They slide easily out of the wrapper.I will support companies like GoOrganic. Their candy is much better than than the overly sweet, artificial junk that is sold as candy today. People need to wake up and realize all the toxins they are cramming into their bodies.

I hate to give less than great reviews, BUT - - I love ginger, so when I get ginger candy I want GINGER !! This is a nice, mildly ginger flavored hard candy. The plus is that the wrapped candies in smaller bags are easy to parcel out.
