Overall a good phone case - may be to oslippery and may not fit your headphone jacks.
An evolution from the "Prefix series" case.Slimmer design and more plastic than rubber - some may prefer the smaller footprint, others may find the plastic more slippery and prefer the rubber. The two vertical supports in the bottom will certainly keep the case more square than the prefix case which deformed along the front. With the case being thinner, the space left avaialble for headphone jacks is restricted. Sure IEM's won't fit so you'll need an extender cable. Fortunately Audio-Technica ATH-M50 jacks are just about slim enough to squeeze through the gap.Overall, looks like another good case from otterbox who've been producing robust iphone cases for many years.

If you're looking for protection, this does an impressive job!
I was looking for a case that would offer a decent level of protection, but wouldn't turn my iPhone 5S into a brick (compared to the Otterbox Defender). I wasn't disappointed. The rubber edge offers great grip and should the phone be placed / dropped face down, the screen should survive. The plastic back hasn't scratched at all - even with heavy use.I'm no longer using the case on a daily basis though. I work in an office and it's just too big for my suit trousers. I don't need the protection in that environment anyway - it's not why I bought it. I change cases regularly and this is still my go to case for days out with my son (in case it's dropped!).I'd highly recommend this case IF you're looking for a durable, solid and heavy duty case. If you're unlikely to drop you're phone or take it into environments where it could be knocked etc., this isn't for you.

Nice slim protective case
I had the more robust Otter case which did its job in protecting the iPhone but it also increased the overall size where just 'slipping into your top pocket' was an issueHave also had experience with another Otter case made from a rubber material which again did the protecting but but after a short period became very loose and also prone to collecting bits of fluf that always seems to accumulate in ones pocketsI have yet to experience the result after dropping the phone in the slimmetry case but it does feel as if able to do the job without affecting the slim nature of the phoneHas a nice solid feel to it and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others

More plastic than expected
Not as rubbery as my iPhone 3gs Otterbox. The back is plasticy, but the front is slightly rubbery. Easier to get out of you pocket, but probably also easier to slip from or to be stolen from your hand.

Cheap plastics and looks tatty quickly!
Not happy with this case. On the good side it did fit well and appeared to protect my phone reasonably well. On the negative side the plastics felt quite cheap and the flexible TPU part, which wraps around the edge became so tatty and faded that after two weeks I sent it back for a refund. If that was after two weeks I dread to think how it would have looked after two months or years! And no i don't bash my phone around, I keep it pristine and like the day I took it out of the box so there was no excuse for the case getting that tatty looking!

Better than Commuter Case
Usual OtterBox quality. My previous case was an Otterbox Commuter and similar to other reviewers the rubber insert covering the bottom of the handset quickly became loose and baggy and was constantly catching on other items in my pocket. Continually releasing the rubber flaps covering the recharge point and the headphones socket made this bad situation much worse. I do however like the robust quality of OtterBox cases so decided to replace with the Symmetry Case - very pleased I did as this does not have the same problems as the Commuter Case.

Sturdy case but SERIOUS design flaws
- The case seems to be made of cheap plastic; not worth the price its being sold at!- The case material has poor grip; easily slips off your hand if you are not extra careful while typing- Buttons are very stiff to press- Its ridiculously difficult to remove the case once its on (say you want to replace the SIM card), and you have to literally try to rip it out from the edges carefully, trying not to damage the iPhone and the case at the same time!

Superb case - recommended
Without question the best overall case for your iPhone. It's light and slim so doesn't detract too much from the phone's design, but offers superb protection. I've had mine for about 2 years now and my phone, which goes everywhere with me for work and shares pockets with keys, is in absolutely mint condition. Drops onto concrete from pocket height haven't even scratched the cover. I'd say I'd buy it again, but I strongly doubt I'll need to!
