SURPHY iPhone 8 Plus Case, iPhone 7 Plus Case, Liquid Silicone Gel Rubber 3 Layer Structure Shockproof Case for iPhone 7/8 Plus 5.5 Inch (Black)

I previously had the Apple silicone case which has served me well for 18 months before failing. My phone is in mint condition so I wanted to buy another one but couldn't justify the £40 asking price. I then came across this which looked very similar. It had the soft backing which is so important to me as previous cases have damaged the back of my phone. I also liked how the bottom is more protected than the Apple one, with cut-outs for ports rather than being completely open. Speaking of the cut-outs, they are pretty wide which is good for plugging in the lightening cable. I've had issues with some cases in the past where I've had to remove the case to charge it as the cut-outs are quite small. I prefer the Apple one for where the buttons are on the side as they are slightly more raised, but it does have a noticeable button shape cut into the sides so you can feel for it pretty easily without looking. The case seems very sturdy all round except for the bottom part which is flexible. I'm not entirely sure why this is the case, no pun intended. The only other observation I would have and comparison to the Apple version would be that it feels slightly more slippy. This maybe because it is new. It's not a criticism as it may prove easier to get in and out of my jeans pockets which my Apple one would always stick to, but also may be more of a risk of dropping.Overall I'm very impressed so far. If this case lasts as long as my Apple one it'll be money well spent. Even if it only lasts a year it will certainly have proved to be better value than the Apple one.

Appearance/tactile: I chose the colour “horizon blue” and am very pleased with it. It’s an elegant mid navy blue that goes with anything and suits a professional look. The case feels nice to hold, is smooth and not sticky-feeling, and does a good job at not slipping on surfaces.Ease of use: Installing the phone into the case was very easy, and due to the design you still have access to the phone’s ports, camera, etc. The side buttons are covered, but still easy to press so you can use the phone without hindrance. One thing I would also note is that it’s not all that easy to take the phone out of the case again once it’s in, but I consider that a good thing because it means that you can be sure the case isn’t going to pop off accidentally or when the phone gets dropped!Sturdiness: The case has stood up well to ordinary daily usage and handling, and survived the occasional bump, knock, or drop, e.g. falling from table onto a hard floor. No marks yet on the case, and more importantly it has kept the phone safe and undamaged.Durability: I bought the case in mid-February 2021, and as of now (end of May 2021) it’s still in perfect condition, looking as good as new.Value for money: apparently you can buy a similar style of phone case from a certain big brand, and you would be spending upwards of 35 quid. Or you could buy this one. Perhaps there is a big difference if you buy the big brand, I don’t know because I have only bought this one, but certainly I don’t regret my purchase and am very happy with the quality of the product for the price I paid!If you found this review helpful, please rate it below :-)

Firsly the box says its for a IPhone 7 plus when I ordered for a 8 plus. Tried it thinking it must be same design/shape but it clearly isn’t as none of the side buttons work when the case is on! Please read the negative reviews I wish I had as it seems others have had this problem also.

I only gave this 3 stars because I find this case too slippery for my tiny hands and my massive 8plus. If you want a soft case that’s smooth like a baby’s bum then this is the case for you.I wanted a more rubbery/grippy silicone case that stays standing up if you’ve got it on the kitchen counter cooking a recipe, for example.Anywho, it fits well and looks nice. You can access all necessary points easily eg charger socket, volume button.I’ve dropped my phone a couple times from standing (I’m 5ft) and nothing has shattered yet so it’s holding up nicely!Can’t be brothered to change it so it can’t be that bad.ps huge tip: a lot of people have complained /commented on the fit. You must state the case needed ie 7plus or 8plus when making the purchase to receive the correct size. I know this because I had to do it twice! Stupid me. Great service, no problems with returns and refunds.

I bought this case about one year ago and it lasted almost the entire time before eventually the metal began to show on the bottom corner (by the charger hole). As it’s protected my phone, looks great, feels great, is resistant to dirt etc and didn’t break I came straight back here to buy my second one. However within less than a month both corners by the charger hole became exposed and now even a random part of the case on the side has become exposed. Unfortunately I didn’t click how soon it had actually be and so didn’t look to return it instantly and have now missed the return time frame. I’m thoroughly disappointed and can only hope this is a one off.

I would say that this is a durable case that is everything I expected from its price. It is not unlike the original apple case, albeit without the logo, and is made from a very similar material. I have found, however, that the silicone does tend to collect lint in pockets and dust if left on dusty surfaces. It does not slip through your hands when holding, which is always a plus, but this friction can mean that you can not get it into your pocket with ease. The inside is lined with felt material and helps stop scratches on the phone. It has proved quite durable and protective since I have been using it and saved my phone from 3-4 drops.Overall, I would recommend this phone case to anyone with a small budget looking for a protective, vibrant case.

This is my second case. The first started to disintegrate. Thought I was unlucky and loved the feel and look if case. Bought a second one. Same thing has happened. Not happy.

A little effort required to put together and needs strong fingers but once done it’s bulletproof. Very strong giving excellent protection and looks nice. Very pleased
