My Dewalt right angle drill is like 25 years old
My Dewalt right angle drill is like 25 years old, and I have never used an "after market" battery before. I tried an 18 volt right angle drill but way too much power to work inside a cabinet with slides and such so I have stayed with the 12 volt. The OEM batts give me a full 8-10 hours of work inside cabinets, so you can imagine how anxious I was to see the new batts from "First Power". Shock City!!! I dropped the batts in the charger out of the box and started with a full charge. Worked with the battery all day but I got called away from the shop early and forgot to drop the battery in the charger before I left. Next morning back at work the battery held up all day. SHOCK CITY!!! Never had any battery last 2 full days at my bench. Not my 14's not my 18's not even my 20 volts. My flex 60's are the only other battery's that have gone for two days in the shop. You want a lower priced battery for your 12 volt?? I think the "First Power" replacements will work for you nicely.

Just “ok” but, price wasn’t bad
So, of course when you find something that is supposed to replace an OEM part and is less expensive, you are cautiously optimistic. These batteries are no different. I have used them for a couple months now and they are just “ok”. They charge fine and do not over heat or anything like that. The problem is that they don’t last very long and the power is not the same as OEM. The performance is comparable to the lower cost. I am not sure if I would buy them again. I might just bite the bullet and buy the OEM battery instead. Go ahead and buy this one and it will just be “ok” but know you get what you pay for on this one. Hope this real review helps someone.

Time will tell
Longevity will tell over time. They fit and locked in like expected. They charged in my DeWalt charger like expected. They made my tool spin like expected. No complaints so far. We'll see how they do in use now. Great value compared to Big Yellow's prices for sure!! Might eventually get 5 stars...time will tell

Fantastic Replacement for DeWalt Batteries
A new DeWalt battery for my drill costs about $70. For less than half the price I got two replacements. There were many to choose from, so I selected the one that had great reviews and which described their product in great detail. I didn't make a mistake. These batteries fit perfectly, charged in an hour, and the best part. . . they provide probably twice as much power to my drill than with my old DeWalt fully charged batteries. I feel like I just bought a new drill and can't believe I didn't buy these batteries long ago. A great deal on a great battery. Packed very well and came with a free pair of work gloves.

Great for older battery tool.
Unknown longevity, just purchased. No protective caps fornthe batteries included. Otherwise seems to be a great teplacement purchase that Dewalt could or wouldnot provide!

These batteries have a lot of potential (energy)
It’s hard to write a review on batteries, but here goes:I put electricity into them with my OEM charger, into which they fit perfectly. Once they’ve been fully stuffed with charge, I put them into my drill. Again, perfect fit.My drill works it’s unexplainable magic the way drills do, and I breathe easy knowing that it will continue to do so for a while, as these batteries hold even more electricity than the original ones did.Bottom line - good price, fits perfectly, came with free gloves (huh?!), and will probably last as long as I need them to.

Perfect fit for old DW927 Drill
These batteries fit my old DW927 drill as well as the original batteries. I had some concerns that I would not be able to charge them reliably with the original NiCd charger that came with the drill, but the vendor assured me (promptly at that) that the original DW9118 NiCd charger would work just fine. So far, it appears to, though as a precaution I have been monitoring the LED light and removing the battery soon after it goes solid so as to prevent the battery getting too hot.
