These knives are pretty awesome! I really, really like them. There is a knife for all your kitchen needs. Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Beautiful in appearance and they arrived polished and sharpened. They have an excellent weight to them. Each knife is weighted perfectly for it's intended purpose. They fit nicely in my hand, my spouse's hand, and my adult son. We all love using these knives. I have thrown out all the other knives we have in favor of these. I also love the knife block. It fits in my kitchen drawer. It takes up the whole drawer, but it works nicely because the block isn't taking up counter space. The knives tuck nicely into the block and the block fits perfect in the drawer and they are out of the way but so handy to get back to. I love having a sexy, functional knife set and getting my counter space back! I don't need any other knife set with this one. I think these are great knives, but I would tend to lean toward them maybe being a tad expensive. They do seem like they would last a long while so the need to replace them anytime soon would be slim. That probably justifies the cost.
