i was looking for something similar to beginner dick & Jane books and this fit the bill perfectly. My 4 year old daughter was happy to find she could read these with only a little help, and my kindergartener enjoyed them easily on his own. The characters are endearing and the stories are compelling. These are normal sized books too, not like the phonics boxes. The box also has a little Velcro tab and a handle, very easy to put the books back in, which was also a big hit with the littles. I would definitely purchase again.

My grandson is a reluctant reader, but was excited that I had the See Otto book from when his dad was in Kindergarten. He read it several times that evening and took it to school to show his teacher the next day. She let him read it aloud to the class and he was so proud. I surprised him with this boxed set and his reading has really picked up. Thank you for making a fun, easy set of stories that connect well with little boys.

We are currently using Logic of English to teach reading. These books are the perfect add on to that curriculum! They are the most phonic based readers series I have seen since Bob Books and the readers that come with Logic of English. The pictures are very interesting and don’t give too many clues onto what the sentence says so there is no guess reading involved! Absolutely love them and so does my little readers!

I have a 5 year old who loves books but was struggling to read more than basic CVC words, so we were directed to these books by a librarian. My son has devoured them. Some early readers still have quite a few difficult words, enough that he would feel frustrated. These are just right. Fun story, great illustrations, loveable characters, sight words, and word repetition. My son excitedly read four of them to our librarian today, and he reads them in his own at home as well. He loves little Otto, and also Pip. I bought this set, but have also just ordered other Otto books not included.

These books are great for a beginning reader. We found at the library but my son wanted to get "Go Otto Go" every time so we decided to buy. Repeats a lot of words which helped him learn words that are not in the sight words list. The illustration is fun and expressive so even as he is reading the book he has more to talk about because of the pictures. Highly recommend.

Bought these for our kindergartener who is learning to read. These books were great. He was able to read them easily without frustration and he absolutely loved Otto. Two thumbs up from my 5 yr old.

Great first set of books. Words are all very basic with plenty of repetition to reinforce the words. My kid loved these.

Me han encantado!!! Son perfectos para la iniciación a la lectura! Como madre y profe, recomiendo estos libros para asociaciones de letras y palabras, aparte del uso fónico. A pesar de que mi nene de 3 años entiende y habla inglés, estos libritos le hacen querer leer por SI MISMO!!! No se trata de la dificultad del texto, como de la iniciación a la lectura. Son perfectos!
