Hasbro Candyland The Train Game

As someone who has played the original Candy land far too much, I found this version to be refreshing. Gone are the tantrum inducing lose a turn and go back spaces. The enormous pile of cards inevitably knocked over by little hands is also absent.This is a straight forward, quick version of a much loved classic. There are only 4 colors to keep track of- great for littles just learning their colors- and no "race" to the finish line. Players take turns moving the train and collecting colored candy tokens. Once the easy version is mastered, you can play to see who collects the most tokens. Overall, I'm glad I took a chance on this game. My three year old loves it and it's quick and easy to set up, play and put away.

This wasn't exactly what I expected. My 3 year-old grandson loved it although we adults didn't think it was very worthwhile. I ordered it for my grandson and he loves it so that is all that really counts. There are variations in the instructions so a child could use it for quite some time. Well made but nothing like the original Candyland if that is what you are looking for.

My train obsessed 3 year old absolutely loves this game! Great buy!

We got this as a gift for Christmas. My son is three and loves it! He got a few other toddler games includimg CandyLand original and this is his favorite. The concept is easy for him since it is luck of the roll that lets you win. The train is cute and easily held by a child. We really enjoy playing it.

This game is awesome and so cute!!! Not sure what the other reviewer expected in a game for kids but whatever! My 4 year old son LOVES it and quite frankly, so do I!! Love how then color dice rolls under the train and you have no idea if the color matches till you pick up the train. So adorable! Love this game!
