Starts to harden very quickly, leaving little time to manipulate effectively
A fast-curing filler that is white when fully cured. It is intended for a variety of uses and on a wide range of materials including wood, stone and brick, ceramics, metals and some plastics.Usually with this type of filler, it is recommended that gloves be worn as some of the ingredients can severely irritate the skin. This is claimed not to do so but those with a known sensitivity, dermatitis, excema, psoriasis and/or the tendency towards any similar conditions or reactions may prefer to use hand protection. In this instance, the product is supplied as 6 x 5g slugs, each of which may be sufficient for a task. If a slug is too large, it is possible to cut it with a knife in its raw, unmixed state. Once kneaded and the colour is about as homogenous as possible (about 60 seconds), it is ready for use but it will begin to harden almost immediately although it takes around 24 hours or more according to temperature to fully cure. It is advisable to use as much as required in one hit (more than one slug, if necessary) as, if under-used, a freshly mixed slug will not adhere well to one that is cured. In this instance, it was purchased to fill holes in brickwork that were intended to support a stair handrail but which no longer support it with the original plugs and screws; the plugs had long ago disintegrated and the holes are now much enlarged, possibly also elongated and the handrail is to be re-installed. In some instances, the putty should be rolled into a sausage of suitable diameter to fill a hole and then tamped down with something suitable (the blunt end of a drill-bit, perhaps). In situations where there may be brick or other dust or loose particles present, that should either be brushed away or blown away with an air duster in advance as it may otherwise detrimentally affect adhesion. Once cured, the material can be sanded, drilled, screwed into and painted. It can be used not only to fill but to repair but it is not a glue and is intended to fill wide gaps and to replace things broken off or missing. It is waterproof and may be able to repair water pipes, and to remain safe at up to 120-deg C. A contact or epoxy glue may be solutions to situations for which this is unsuited. If the job or number of jobs is large, the product is also supplied in a larger resealable tube where you also cut off as much as is needed.A similar product is sold under several brands, fills the same functions, but cures far more slowly - about 2-3 hours to start to harden and up to 48 to fully cure.

Easy to use, but sets very quickly, making it difficult to mould neatly.
It's the kind of product where you make a mess of the first or second time you try it, and then once you get reasonably good at using it, you do an okay job. It sets really quickly - and there's a bit of an art to knowing when to stop kneading and when to start applying it. It's okay, but I'll probably look elsewhere next time around to see if there's something better!

Curtain railings are now on the wall
This stuff sorts out curtain railings. I have curtain railings falling left, right and center. They aren't even heavy curtains, more like a fine sheet of cobweb. Regardless this stuff sorted them out and haven't had a problem since.I haven't used it on anything else. Get it if you need to sort out curtain railings, I tried it on curtain railings supporting a set of heavy curtains (not just my light ones) that I came across that fell down once. They haven't fallen since. 5/5.

Versatile product.
This stuff is AMAZING! you can repair almost anything with it. (well stuff that traditional glue won't work on) I used it to repair a piece of metalwork decoration that had broken. I had tried all sorts of glue-and NOTHING would hold. Just one bit of this, a little dry time, and a bit of paint to match the bronze color and you would never know it had been broken. Shamefully, I also used it to repair a small hole in my ceiling where a hook had pulled out and needed to go back in. Worked like a charm. You need this stuff for your tool box.

An amazing product
I needed to repair those annoying bits of brittle plastic that always break off products, in this case some fixings for blinds. No glue had worked. This was brilliantly easy to use and hardens quickly. Well worth having at hand for all those eventualities.

Fantastic
What a great product!! I have purchased this a couple of times now! If you need to re-attach cupboard doors where the screw holes have worn then this product is great, you can drill and screw into this and it holds screws in place without crumbling! Why did I never come across this before!! Great great product

It works well
I bought this to fix a broken tap. I have a split on my shower that keeps spraying water on the tap side. The unibond has sealed the split and no more leaking. going to try it on my wooden chairs too
