It works really well as a CPU. Thanks, AMD!

A good budget general purpose CPU with modest-to-moderate graphics abilities
This dual core CPU is perfect for my budget AM4 based build. It's well suited to general Windows tasks and the odd older (or light) game. Its TDP is rated at 35W so the stock cooler has no trouble in keeping temps well under control. As long as you don't expect to run AAA games or intensive applications, this processor is a great economical choice. Also, as it's "Socket AM4" you have the option in the future to pop in a powerful Ryzen CPU (as long as you then add a graphics card).

Great low power APU
Great low power APU for general home and office usage. Plays 1080P YouTube videos without issue. Cooler that came with it is almost silent and keeps temperatures low.Happy with purchase.

I needed a cheap older AM4 processor to be able ...
I needed a cheap older AM4 processor to be able to update the motherboard bios. This was the cheapest I could find and it worked. But I am still not certain why this is listed with "Intel" in the name listed on Amazon. AMD processors are nothing to do with Intel.

Another BIOS updater case
So as many have done it, the only reason for me buying this was to flash the BIOS of my B350-F from Asus since it had version 3401 which isn't compatible with Ryzen 5 2600X (second gen) therefore I can only say that while spending £50 might not sound like a big deal I would've preferred to spend that extra money on another motherboard with a more advanced chipset. Anyways, this seems like a good processor and I'd recommend it for light applications as it incorporates a graphics processor which for Office and Internet tasks should work like a breeze. The one big drawback is: the thermal solution is DREADFUL. This explains the low price point for this processor. Simply avoid it and get a Coolermaster heatsinkNow I need to sell this one to recover my money :(If you are in the same situation and don't want to wait until AMD approves sending you a boot package (which is basically THIS processor) then go for it, otherwise good luck getting yours.

Great for updating mobos for Ryzen 2.
Yea, used this to update my new motherboard for Ryzen 2. Worked a treat, but cost £50 notes to do it. On the plus side, I did manage to get a 'non' working motherboard from a well known auction site for £5, bunged this bad boy in and volia... She's alive!! :)

That my ordered product has safely arrived!
An excellent little chip which certainly pulled me from the mire when the board I opted for refused to run the new (at the time) Ryzen Processor. Bios problem. Didn't like the chipset much anyway so purchased another board. Gonna stick a series 3 Ryzen in it when I get around to it. Highly recomended if you find yourself in a similar situation, a bios flash would do the trick. Brill little chip. Thanks. :)

AMD A6 processor.
Used this to download latest bios before installing a Ryzen 7 in a new build. Worked fine for this purpose.
