This is by far my favorite G-Shock and I own about a dozen. The features are great, being able to see the time while the stop watch is going, the alphanumeric day with the date. The moon phase is cool also. BUT within the first week of owning it the watch would blank out. Reset to 12:00am 1-1-2010 etc. Sometimes the screen would flash "CHG". Then would reset and the charge meter reads "H" for high. I thought ok I will charge it up. Let it get a days worth of sunshine.....same problems. I found that this seemed to happen more in the darkness, but not always. It kept happening to the point that I would look to my watch for the time at work, which is very important to know the time at my job, and the thing would have blanked out. Was driving me insane. I finally broke down and sent it back to Casio for repair or replacement and have not heard back yet. I have read this problem happening with other models of this mudman. Maybe a bad batch or a design problem...I am not sure. If the watch comes back and works it will be my everyday watch again. Its comfortable, light and the features are great. This is one of the best modules in my opinion. I just hope its not a problem that cant be fixed. Three stars for the design issue, but if that were not present it would be a five star watch.Update: Found out that the reason the watch was resetting is environmental. I wear a portable motorola radio at work and the radio signal causes this watch to reset. Still a great watch, but if you work in or around any electrical or radio signals might create an issue for you like it does me.

Everything about this watch is amazing EXCEPT FOR THE NEGATIVE DISPLAY (dark background, light/white font). The most important aspect of a watch, besides keeping time, is the quality of the display and this type of display is a bit annoying to read. Do not be fooled by the pictures online of negative display G-Shocks because these are not how they look in most lighting.While I was at Macy's the watch looked great, as this watch really is beautiful in great lighting. I bought it right away (45% off sale, could not resist) and wore it constantly for the next week. As I continued to wear it, I noticed that the display was difficult to read in dark to even normal lighting. The watch looks its best in direct sunlight or very bright indoor lighting. At night, I have the automatic illumination come on so there is no problem there. It is when viewing this watch in dim or even adequate indoor lighting where it becomes difficult to read quickly. If I angle the watch towards whatever light source there is, it is legible but it just takes a little more effort and eyestrain than I prefer. With that in mind, I still kept the watch because it was such a good deal and because it looks amazing with enough light. I will keep wearing this watch but I will never buy another negative display until Casio improves their legibility, contrast, and/or brightness.Other than the display, this watch has all the standard G-shock features such as stopwatch, timer, world time, and alarm functions. It also has some better features including a compass, thermometer, moon phase, tough solar, and atomic timekeeping (Multiband 6). The thermometer only works accurately if used while off your wrist for awhile. The Multiband 6 atomic timekeeping update works best after midnight and with the top of the watch (12 o'clock position) facing towards the nearest tower. The wrist band is supposedly made of carbon fiber but I'm not sure what percentage. The band keeper is metal but slides around a lot.I have since bought the Mudman GW-9300 (American version) which has a POSITIVE display. I prefer to wear this watch more often than the GW-9330B because it is so easy to read. The only drawback of this watch is there is no Multiband 6. I was tempted to buy the Japanese version to get the Multiband 6 but honestly, I do not think it is worth the extra $100-$200.TL;DR. Overall, I would have given this watch a 4/5 but the negative display takes it down a star to 3/5. Positive displays FTW.

Almost 800 bucks for a plastic watch? Are you fricking serious? If you spend that much on this watch, you need serious mental help!

先日、奮発して購入しました。デザインが好みで、派手すぎず地味すぎない、方位計測が付いているのが魅力に感じました。しかしながら、実物は、思ったより地味で、写真で見る印象より、暗い感じです。また、文字盤は写真のような、ブルー色ではありません。普通のＧショックのライトをつけていない時の色で、ライトをつけても、蛍光色で、写真のようなブルー色にはなりませんでした。そこが一番がっかりしました。このデザインに、この文字盤の色だから、かっこよく見えたのですが・・・買って損したとは思いませんが、購入検討の方は、その点も考慮の上、購入される事をお勧めします。

マッドマンのスタンダードを購入して気に入ったので購入しました。違いは表示の所とベルトのバンドが金属になっている。裏の刻印の違いくらいでしょうか。実際に手に取ると表示が幾分見ずらい感じがありますが、個人的にはあまり気にしない程度です。満足しています。
