Simple
It is satin finish as in the description. The mounting method is simple. It should last the life of the shower I purchased. The tube I used is a 1" OD 3A Polished Stainless Steel Tubing, 316L, Welded, 16 Gauge (.065") , it's a marine grade stainless steel, and was the best price I could find if shipping is factored in. It is costly but should also last the life of the shower. It's similar in finish to the flange set. This tube is a tight fit in the Viborg flange, however it slid in OK after I filed the burrs off of the end of the tube.If you have a damaged tube which isn't completely round it will not fit. The tube described comes very well packed in a round cardboard tube. Here's one way to assemble the tube and flange set:-Measure between the mounting surfaces, and cut the tubing so it is at least 1/2 inch less than this measurement. File the burrs off of each end of the tube and smooth with sandpaper.-Remove the wall mount from each flange.-Mount one wall mount on each surface where you want the rod to be supported using one screw in each oblong hole.-Make sure that the tube fits between the two wall mounts.-Slide the two flanges onto the tube with each flange facing the end of the tube.-Support the tube and hold the tube end at the first wall mount and screw the flange onto the wall mount until it is flush with the wall, then repeat for the other end. -If you have the tube type above, turn it so the faint writing faces upwards, and then tighten the 2 lock screws in the flanges.

Great quality but tolerances are too tight.
These shower rod mounts are beautifully made from high quality materials. The only issue is that a 1" rod is a very tight fit. I tried with two sets and both have the same issue. When paired with the Moen 2-100-5SS Donner Commercial Shower Rod that amazon recommends, the fit is too tight and, initially, I couldn't even get the rod inside the flanges. Should you get these, you will need to file, grind and/or sand the interior of the sockets to create clearance. I had to both reduce the diameter of the Moen rod and enlarge the sockets on the flanges. Worth it if you wan the look as there are not many minimalist shower rods that mount to the wall.

Fantasitc!
I searched the internet and big box stores for months to find something this clean looking when I remodeled my bathroom. These are real high-quality stainless steel. I've had a set in my old house since 2018 with 0 rust or corrosion. I LOVE the hidden screws. It makes for a very clean install when you get a piece of 1" thin wall 316 stainless steel tube from McMaster Carr and cut it to length to use as a curtain rod. Its about the same price as a rod from one of the box store also, but the advantage is that it doesn't have the expansion joint in the middle that the curtain rod always hangs on! I liked these so much I bought more when I remodeled the bathrooms in my new house.

Custom towel bar solution
I needed to create my own towel bars that attach to the side walls rather than the back wall of a towel niche in my bathroom. These brackets, combined with a one inch diameter acrylic rod, were a perfect solution. The brackets themselves are very heavy duty, high quality brushed nickel. They installed easily into the porcelain tile on the sides of the towel niche. I am very pleased with the outcome. Note that other reviewers have said that a one inch bar did not fit inside the brackets - I did not find that to be the case with a one inch acrylic (lucite) rod.

I really like this product
I was looking for a shower rod flange that only required one screw (fewer holes in new tile) and did not have exposed screw heads. This fit the need perfectly. I purchased a 1" SS tube and cut it to size, and it all worked well together. Getting it all to fit required a little patience but was not tough. I put a little WD40 on the inside so slipping the rod in and around would be easier. Overall a great look, VERY sleek and clean, nicely packaged, reasonable price.

The Crown Jewel of Stainless Steel Rod Flange Mounts
This finely crafted, CNC'ed stainless steel and laser etched shower curtain rod mount, is the best period. It did not come with any instructions, but having mechanical skills, I was able to figure it all out and use it with my heavy gauge stainless tube rod. And the best part is, it has no exposed and unsightly fastener/screw head(s) and the whole curtain rod assembly turned out rock solid. No more cheap, flimsy, and rusting store bought shower curtain mounts and rod for life.

Faulty manufacture
An example of a good concept but poor fabrication. The flange is too small to fit on a standard 1" chrome shower rod. I even ground the rod down slightly so I could finally push it in. But even then the rod would not go past the threads. So it's useless to me!

Well Made
These are very sturdy and well made. I mounted mine with a 1" solid aluminum bar. It's sturdy, looks good, and the shower curtain now slides smoothly. If you buy these, be prepared to cut your rod to about 1/2" shorter than the opening. There are mounting plates that the rod sockets thread on to, and they protrude from the wall a bit.
