These seem to be very well made; the plastic seems much more impact resistant than the cheaper ones I used before. I dropped one of the others onto concrete and it shattered. I don't think this one would do that. These are also easy to install onto a cord; takes about 10 minutes. Be sure to follow the instructions regarding wire lengths. I have ordered the mating, male, connectors from Camco and am going to replace those as well.

This plug replaces another replacement plug, which melted in such a manner as to make separating plug and receptacle difficult enough to make it necessary to use a screw driver to pry the two mating halves apart. Arrived quickly. Installed easily.

Great product, don’t try to save a buck by buying a cheaper one, I should know. High quality, nice strong terminals

I bought this to make up a custom cord to plug in my trailer to my generator (already had the other end of the cord). This end is nice and sturdy and has that wonderful handle on it. The handle makes it a breeze to disconnect. I plan on buying more when I rebuild some other cords. The only reason this got 4 and not 5 starts is that it doesn't appear to be very water resistant. I'm not saying I expect something that could operate under water, but it looks like this thing could get soaked to the bone with just a light rain. I'll probably try a bunch of chalking when do the other ends (and maybe even redo this one).

Best in class. Have purchased other models but camcorder is best and easy to work with.

Needed to replace the power grip on our RV. Works wonderful and not hard to change out.

This is the second Camco Replacement plug I have purchased and I am VERY pleased with this design. The first was a Male plug to replace the molded 30 amp plug on my RV Shore Power cable. The plug is big but the size give you the room you need inside to connect the heavy gauge wires (I had first tried to use a smaller, cheaper plug but found in very difficult to make the connections.) An added advantage of the bigger size is there is internal air space to help prevent the heat build up that melted the original plug. My wife loves the handle. I bought the female plug to convert a spare 30 amp cable into an extension for the RV. Installation was easy and the design of the connectors make it easy to hook up the wires. Well designed product.

El diametro de la parte que en teoria es la que entra en el receptaculo, es mayor por lo tanto no hay manera de conectarlo, trate de lijarlo pero es demasiado lo que habria que quitar,CAMCO hay que probar los productos con los receptaculos y que enbone en todos, lastima

Itbis a good product and easy instructions

The Cord connectors are nice and solid making a firm connection to the wire. The connectors make a good electrical connection to the mating plug. No heat like my original. It was easy to install with the length of strip identified for the wire. Good wirr clamping too. I will buy this again.

It does what it says it will do BUT.. it's hard plastic. Not sure how this will hold up in the long run. I wish it had been a rubberized receptacle rather than hard plastic. Screws are a bit putzy. Will they rust apart? Time will tell.

Item was as described and delivery was quick. Already installed and is working fine. Totally satisfied.
