Ergonomic Office Chair INTEY High Back Mesh Desk Chair , Adjustable Headrest and Lumbar Support, Computer Desk Task Chair, Passed BIFMA/ SGS Certification, Comfortable and Reliable

Originally, one month after buying this chair, I had written that it was a "Very good chair, excellent support, very comfortable". Ten months down the line, I the seat cushion became harder and harder, and now it's hard as wood and causing me serious lower back problems. I've ordered a memory foam cushion to try and keep using the chair, but if that does not work, I'll have to have to take the chair to the dump.

I selected to purchase this particular chair because it offered 'integral lumbar support' and good for working while sitting for long hours.This chair arrived an in a box that I needed to put together which was very easy as the step by step instructions were clear and helpful. The instructions came together with white gloves, Allen keys and bolts which were packed in such a way that they could all be easily and quickly be identified.The has five high-quality castors, not only allows me to swivel with ease but also do not damage my real wood floor.I love the adjustable headrest, cushioned arms, but the most important for me is the huge relief from pain in my lower back and have stopped taking painkillers.I am 5'10" and have found the chair to be extremely comfortable and hesitation in recommending it to anyone.One of the best investment I have made for my back, comfort and productivity.

After a month of use at my desk, the back support keeps getting stuck, the chair refuses to stay at amy given height, slowly getting lower as time goes by. Its a good chair, but its the most expensive piece of "work in progress" ive ever seen. If im honest, if they gave me a whole new one that actually worked then id be a happy bunny but for now im really disappointed

I had put up for some years with a "cheapie" desk chair from my local Staples. This was so uncomfortable and unsupportive, sitting it for any length of time almost verged on the hazardous!!I decided it was time to replace it. I did consider the high end stuff - Herman Miller designed and suchlike - but the prices seemed ridiculous. After much thought, I settled on this INTEY chair.When it arrived, some assembly was required -as is usual with office chairs in my experience. I was puzzled by the bits and pieces I couldn't relate to the diagrams. However, it soon became clear that the LH armrest had become damaged and the "mystery bits" were the component parts of the armrest. How it got damaged remains a mystery as there were no signs of damage visible to the box it arrived in.I contacted INTEY - the supplier/manufacturer via Amazon and, whilst waiting for a response, I decided to assemble the chair without the LH armrest. Assembly was very quick and easy. Once assembled, even without the LH armrest, it was clear that this chair was a vast improvement over my old one.I had a very quick reply from INTEY. They asked me to send some images that showed the damage. I did so and they responded by offering to send a replacement armrest. This has just arrived this morning........actually, they sent replacements for both the right and left hand!Although the armrest damage provided an initial disappointment, I think INTEY deserve full marks for remedying the problem. From the initial delivery to this morning's arrival of the replacement armrest -and the final assembly- has taken just 8 days.Based on usage so far, I find the chair is very comfortable and even long periods of use have -so far - caused me no discomfort.Although I am trying to lose weight, this is proving a slow process. So, as well as comfort and proper back support, I needed a chair able to cope whilst my dieting takes effect!!! This chair seemed to fit the requirements and the reality lives up to expectations. The chair has a solid, substantial "feel". Nothing feels loose or insecure and with a claimed 150Kg weight limit, all should be well.Overall, whilst this is not a cheap chair, I feel the price is justified and I'm happy with my purchase. I'm awarding 4 stars but if the armrest issue had not arisen I would be awarding 5.

I was looking for a good quality, decent chair that wasn't made out of leather and nor would it get damaged/ripped easily. This is the perfect set!Firstly, It was fairly straight forward to build the chair from its parts. It did confuse me a little with the instructions as some parts were not clearly labelled and assumed the user would know. Albeit nothing too complicated and managed to get it ready within 15 minutes.The actual seat is rather comfortable, very hard when pushed with your finger, but soft when sat on, almost like a cushion. The chair is very adjustable from its arm, to the height, to the head rest and the back of the chair. I appreciate the bit on the back that can be raised so your lower back is actually resting against it. I think in general, I don't feel totally comfortable being my height! But it definitely beats my old chair =)Although the price is a tad steep, it is still a very good chair for office work or even gaming. I've used it for several hours a day and so far enjoying it!

It is a very comfortable computer chair. No more difficult to assemble than any computer chairs. The nice touch is that it comes with a pair of cotton gloves which protect your delicate hands and fingers. I built many chairs and this is the first one to think of protecting your hands!My confusion was with the arm supports - the bigger ends in front as stated on the instruction, will render my arms clashing with the thicker edge. Anyway, swop the arm pads around and my hands are more comfortable.If I were to be nitpicking, I would prefer the arm supports to swivel with my arms at an angle to the keyboard.Well! I suppose you have to pay for the above enhancements. It would be nice to have the above built in!The lumbar support can be adjusted vertically which is great because not every person has a spine the same shape.Overall, good and comfortable chair.
