Q: how wide & how deep is the step. ??

like 16 inches wide i would say,but how deep it would depend on the kind of vehicle., I have a 97 silverado and i can use the step even if the door is close,plus it comes with different mountings and there are ajustable.

Thank you for asking! Unfortunately, it is not a direct fitment on your truck. The reason I say it is not a direct fitment is because it is possible to make the step work, but not without modifications such as drilling and/or welding. This is due to the mounting brackets the steps use – they are meant to mount to the body rocker panel. On your truck there is not enough clearance for the step to mount properly without doing additional work. Any single side step you come across will likely have the same issue with your truck – my suggestion would be to find something that is vehicle specific and not universal or find a shop that is familiar with these steps and understand the process of how to make them work.
