Needed for boiled egg perfection
It's not the height of engineering but it perfectly punctures an egg, If you don't put a tiny hole in the rounded end of the egg it will crack during boiling.

No leaky boiled eggs - mostly
Easy to use. Has an 'off' and 'on' twist so you don't stab yourself with the spike when not in use. Have to get the 'on' in exact position otherwise it doesn't pierce the egg.

Does the job
The media could not be loaded. When piercing the egg, one side doesn't go down all the way, so its a bit tilted, but it still does the job and for the price I paid I cannot complain
