The bed was delivered on time and to 'Jersey' it was easy to unpack, and although this would be a two man job, I managed to put it up myself, tip you really need a good electric screw driver set if possible one with an alun key attachement to make certain every screw and bolt are tightened properly . The instructions were easy to follow and with all the supports that come with the bed, the finished bed is sturdy and with the sprung wooden slats very very comfortable, it looks great and looks ellegant in my cottage bedroom, its just what I had been looking for and at such a good price. This is a great double bed for our guest room. Good val. It was easy to assemble following the instructions. It recommends 2 people but I putit carefully together myself within a couple of hours. Looks great in the stone white. Really pleased and the delivery was on time with helpful delivery driver.

Product OK but driver did not deliver the product properly and ran away (in a van) when asked to do what he was supposed to..... very poor, unprofessional and rude ... be aware when paying for extra delivery services

I was determined not to like this product when I opened the box. I removed the head and foot from the box first and thought they were very lightweight and wouldn't be up to the job i.e. the whole bed would rattle and creak all night. Also, the 'antique gold' effect had been applied by brush and not very well at that. Grumbling to myself for buying such a 'bargain' I unpacked the rest and set about putting it together. As it happens, all the other components are heavy and well made. It's had some thought put into it as well as the washers that attach the frame to the head and foot are rubber, which makes the bed non-squeaky. It suggests two people assemble it, but I did it on my own with no problem. The package arrived in good time and all the components were in the box. I would have given it five stars had it not been for the bad antique gold painting. Other than that, well happy.

bought this just a few months ago. Fine. Now it has an annoying creaking no matter how tight the bolts are,the creaking is still there. I will add that there is one person in the double size bed and I weigh 10 stones.
