Birthday present for a Tolkien/Nasmith mad wife. She absolutely loved it. Yet to build but is very much looking forward to doing so.

Great puzzle but unfortunately it was missing the final piece, which is rather anticlimactic. After a quick message they offered to send a new bag of pieces, which is really kind of them. So will finally be able to lay that final piece!

Loved this puzzle, really hard in places and took a good while to finish! Well worth it!

For any Lord of the Rings or Hobbit lover (like me), this will be a welcome addition to your fan collection!It's very well made. The pieces are cut to exact sizes with smooth edges and no splitting between the backs and the upper printed image. They fit together perfectly and don't disassemble so easily that they slide out each other whenever the puzzle is moved.The design is really detailed so the puzzle does take some time and effort to complete (it took me and my friend about 3 weeks). I like that the backs don't have letters on them as it adds to the challenge of completing it. No more cheating by categorising the pieces by letters!Would make a great gift, family activity, or fun project for puzzle enthusiasts. This is a wonderful jigsaw, well made and very attractive but oh my is it difficult. Some of it is merely challenging but dear me, when you get to the trees and rocks, gird your loins as you`re in for the long haul. An added frustration is that many of the pieces fit in more than one place so even when I thought I`d finished I had to go back and swap about 4 pieces around because they were in the wrong place. Very rewarding though. Eventually!
