I am happy with the quality and performance of this equipment. I had to salvage an SSD from a dead HP Omen laptop. Swapped the drive into this unit and now have access to all the data for transfer to another laptop. Bonus is to attach more devices as needed to my MacBook Pro M3 Max with only 3 USB-C ports. Will run dual HDMI with no problem. One from the MacBook, the other from the adapter.

Appears sturdy and well made. It gets warm when in use so give it adequate ventilation. Comes with a tiny screwdriver and a piece of silicone to conduct heat (I guess?) from the SSD to the case. Adequate number of USB ports, with the card reader providing an extra bonus. All in all appears to be a very good value.

A while back, I retired an old laptop and decided to re-use the SSD in it and I found this hub that has room for a SSD. Since I need a hub anyway for connecting to various other things when I travel, this seemed to be a good idea, and it was. Recognized the SSD, no problem. If you have a single sided SSD (components stick out on one side...), then you have plenty of room. If you have a double sided SSD like I used, it can be a bit of a tight fit, but it did work (just). A word of warning...this thing can get hot if you transfer a lot of files. Not too warm for unsafe operations, just don't rest your fingers on it. ;o)

Just gets a bit hotter sometimes, else, it's a combo pack, includes everything in one single device.

I bought this to expand my kids laptop. The primary reason for purchasing this device over others was its ability to include an nvme m.2 drive. installed the new drive into his laptop, took the old drive out of the laptop and put it in into this device, and then cloned the hard drive that could use the new device in it. Consider that extra expansion it’s given more life and accessibility to using the laptop.Thank you so much for such an excellent product!

Puede ser muy bien presentado y de buena marca, pero falla intermitente, parece ser que perdi mi dinero, note que fallaba justo después de que se acabara el tiempo de devolución.Escribo nuevamente para que nadie pierda su dinero, realmente no es un buen adaptador o al menos el que me toco a mi venia mal, falla por todos lados, parece que el cable de conexión USB C a la laptop ya se dañó por completo, volvi a mi viejo adaptador de 5 dolares que funciona estable.En conclusión esa platica se perdio

Husband reviewing here.I'm an avid photographer when my wife and I travel and had been carrying 3+ gadgets to charge, read cards, connect to tv (or monitor) and store images. This thing solves every single one of those requirements. I added a 1TB SSD drive which gives me plenty of storage for my videos and pictures.With USB C connectivity I can connect to my tablet or my laptop.Very pleased with it.

Is not so good, they offer it as a 10Gbps(1.2GB) capable enclosure, but in my Macmini M1 barely reach 5Gbps(0.6GB) and with unstable transfer, every time Mac boots I have to disconnect it and reconnect it because is not detected during boot, the SSD is a Kioxia Gen 3x4 with 2.5GB top speed, so, is cheap, yes, but does not fulfill what is offered.
