I have complained. I have received a full refund, but this item is still advertised for sale one Amazon UK. This is an American piece of electrical equipment. It is designed and built in the USA. It ships from the USA. It has an American plug and American voltage system. I have been told it is possible to covert to the UK system, but that would invalidate the guarantee. I hadn't realised when I purchased that it shipped from Indianapolis, which should have given me a clue. There are UK machines available, so seek elsewhere.

First of all, I really appreciate the way this item was packaged when it arrived. Carefully packaged, but the way to break it down is well thought of so that it slides up so you don't have to lift anything. The handlebar and wheels make it pretty convenient to move around. Although it was beyond what I needed for my garage I feel reassured with the build quality and automatic drainage. On top of that, it sits neatly under my workbench and is a lot quieter than my old one. Highly reccomend getting a commercial grade dehumidifier to save the hassle.

I was searching for a commercial grade dehumidifier for my barn/garage, which is constantly wet due to water flow against the cement foundation. I found this unit on sale, and was attracted by its decent 170 pint / day capability and its built in pump, which I need because I need to get the water up and out of a window.The unit arrived carefully packaged, but was easy to unpack because, after you remove the packing straps, the box slid off so you don't have to lift the unit out. It was heavy, almost 100 pounds, but the wheels are excellent quality both front and back. It rolled very easily.I let it rest for 24 hours and turned it on. When I returned the next day, I discovered that there was a leak in the brass fitting that connected to the drain hose, likely because the connector had been banged in transit. I went to the hardware store and found a replacement fitting that worked, then wrote to customer service. Though they're in China, they responded overnight and quickly offered me fair compensation for the cost of the parts and my time. Really one of the better customer service experiences I've had, which is unusual for an international vendor.At any rate, with the brass fitting fixed, the unit has been CRANKING. I had my 2000+ sq ft space down from 88% humidity to a constant 40% humidity within 48 hours, and now the unit has no problem maintaining that easily, while not even running all the time. I expect this will cure my mold and paint problems — regardless of the wet weather here in New Hampshire. Recommended.

We have been using this in our large warehouse and it has made a world of a difference, the space is over 7000 sq ft and this dehumidifier so far hasn't had any trouble keeping the humidity levels low, the pump that it has is amazing it automatically drains the water so we don't have to think about it. This was a huge upgrade we did if we compare it to the ones we tried, the past we tried needed constant attention but this one doesn't, now we can place it wherever its needed the most without worrying about drainage, this is easy to move around since it comes with some wheels and handles which is great for us since we often need to relocate it depending on our needs plus its really quiet.
