So it arrived by Fed Ex and in keeping with their "It ain't mine, I don't care" attitude, it was left on my front porch, laying on its side, when package clearly indicates that it should be handled and shipped top up. Packaging had been roughed up alot. Got it unpacked, and assembled. Instructions are very minimal. Could not adjust the cutter head up and down, as it was binding. Called company, and customer service was somewhat lacking in what they could do. To assist, you'd get email instructions or return it. To return, I would have to go through Amazon. Amazon would want packaging back also. I didn't have packaging...expected it work since it's German engineered. So, using my mechanic skills, and not wanting to hassle with returns, I took the top off to find the bind. Found it...Fed Ex strikes again as they had bent the housing. A pair of pliers stagically placed fixed the housing so I could raise and lower cutter head. Not perfect, but it works for what I need...getting ready to test the cutter head later today, or tomorrow...I didn't notice any other issues other than housing somewhat damaged, so I presume the cutter head is level...more to follow. UPDATE: Issue #1: The unit base mount holes are not drilled the same. 3 holes are 5/16", 1 hole is 3/8".Issue #2: The connector for the chip removal vacuum is a bit small for U.S. vacuum hose connections (Rigid), a piece of Duct tape tightened that up.UPDATE #2: Issue 3, the mounting holes mentioned in "Issue 1" are to close the to product to allow fasteners to attach it completely to a base. Suggest possible redesign of moving holes 1/4" to 3/8" out from unit to allow ease of mounting. The current configuration reqiired multiple, annoying trips to hardware store in order to mount tool to base. Final mounting required using rear left mount hole, and front right mount hole only. This provided enough mounting to safely use tool. Total setup time from box delivery to use was 4 days due to shipping damage repair, and mounting configuration issues...otherwise, tool performed admirably as expected with low noise, and steady planning ( Setting 1). Suggest purchasing a dust collector for use between planner and Shop Vac to protect shop vac from dust clogging and burn out of shop vac motor (Voice of Experience).

It's like magic! I insert one very rough board and out comes a beautifully, smooth board from the other side.You tube videos claimed this particular one was good especially for a new diy woodcrafter, of which I am.However, it also claimed it came with extra blades as well as the leg base. I personally do not need the legs but after all of these boards, I could've used the blades. Maybe this is their answer to keeping this machine affordable, but it's a little disappointing. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating.

The handle sticks and it blows the fuse in garage every few days. It’s decent for the money we paid but not the best brand we have owned. I would get better brand if you plane things a lot !!!

So far I really like this planer. It worked perfectly for my project. It’s not for the professionals but for weekend hobby it will do the job and save you lots of headaches.

I don’t have any experience using a thickness planer or as Vevor calls it “Thicknesser”. The results so far have been good. I’m happy.

A cheap planer that will work for a while, the main table is thin and the underside of that looks like a 5 yr old machined it with a bench grinder, hard to raise and lower, the outfeed an indeed tables are not level with the main table, poor instructions written by someone that doesn't know English, dings on the main table as well, but it does work, I've had better

First off fantastic unit. Assembling the base took about an hour, the instructions were piss poor for telling what went where. Aside from that I tried it out on a two inch slab of curly maple. It couldn't do a full turn off the handle when attempting to plane. It stalled out and popped the breaker that was built in. Half turn and it seemed happy enough. DeWalts planer can handle a full turn on this kind of wood but costs a lot more. This unit functions does the job is quieter then the DeWalt version and has a dust port that can be hooked up to a shop vac with a fernco adapter from home Depot in the plumbing section. All in all I'm not dissatisfied with the unit. Other major draw back was a 13" peice won't go threw. Gas a cutting board that got stuck in the middle and had to save down the sides just a little bit.

bonsoir, la machine est très bien.elle fais très bien son travail.pas bruyante du tout, coupe très bien.livré sans aucun manques.. contrairement aux autres acheteur.je vous la conseille sans aucun doute. étant très exigeant sur le matériels et la qualitée.commandée là, vous ne serai pas déçu.le seul défaut c'est un adaptateur pour aspiration des copeaux.car sans... l'éjection des copeaux et quazi nul. ou elle ce fais au niveau des lames.

Impeccable sur du bois dur. Le résultat top. A ceux qui sont intéressé je le conseil. pas de regrets pour moi

Avevo scartato la Vevor 12.5 pollici perchè in uscita di produzione e la 13 pollici perchè costosa con tutta la spedizione. Avevo pertanto deciso per un altra marca ma poi il 19 gennaio è uscito questo modello nuovo su Amazon. Il prezzo era inferiore a tutti gli altri modelli probabilmente perchè venduta senza base di appoggio come invece le altre ma la base non l'avrei usata in quanto era mio interesse posizionarla su un suo mobiletto con rotelle.Oltre il prezzo, questa volta concorrenziale, non volevo dissanguarmi, mi ha colpito la doppia velocità (le altre una) e le tre lame anziché due. Per il resto non differisce dal modello 13 pollici, larghezza tavola max 330 mm, altezza massima tavole 15 cm, minima altezza piallabile 6 mm, 2000 w e predisposta per l'aspiratore.Arrivata dopo 4 giorni, sballata, sistemata, regolato i pianetti laterali, costruito ulteriore pianetto in laminato di 70 cm , adattato il tubo di aspirazione, ho piallato un po di legno: tavole di abete di cantiere, tavole di pedane, del faggio, del listellato e delle bacchette da 2 cm procedendo con passate da mezzo millimetro e max 1 mm. Provato le due velocità, la differenza della più accurata piallatura con la 1a velocità si è vista solo sul faggio. Rumorosità sopportabile.In conclusione, fattoci la mano, fà quello che volevo, cioè velocizza enormemente i tempi di piallatura e levigatura portando a spessore in breve tempo il legno. La superfice piallata già va bene per molti lavori ma se occorre una superfice perfetta occorre una successiva finitura con levigatrice.
