North American Indian (DK Eyewitness Books)  It was this book together with a visit to the US in 2001 just after 911, that put me on a path which has found me new friends and much reading material I never knew existed; I have the Educational Edition of this Dorling Kindersley book, which is just the same but with a different cover - sadly so for Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce - pictured on the more widely ditributed book - has been a true legend unto the Native American people for more than a century since his untimely death in 1904... The pain and struggle of this Chief for his peoples' survival is written about so often and by so many authors - all available thru' Amazon - dot com or co.uk - as are the bio's of other notable Chiefs of the various tribes.Hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do Mystical-UK
