Excellent product, does what it’s supposed to do less dust in the house and odors. Cleaner air!
This air cleaner works very well in my home. I noticed less dust, which was my biggest problem. It is quiet and I love the fact that you can use the app to adjust it whenever you need to as I have one upstairs and one downstairs. I can adjust the speed or turn it to auto or even turn it off whenever I need to without getting up by using my phone even when I’m not home. I also like that you can monitor what the air quality was throughout the day. It picks up odors, like hairdryer and kitchen odors. And adjust the speed on auto according to the odors it picks up and then it adjusts back once the odor has been eliminated. Excellent product. Worth the purchase. I purchased a large and smaller size. Very happy with its performance,

★★★★★ Noticeably Cleaner Air and Whisper Quiet After using the BLUEAIR Blue Pure 311i Max Smart Air Purifier for several weeks, I can honestly say it’s one of those purchases you don’t realize you needed until you have it. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it is. On the lower settings, it’s barely noticeable, making it perfect for a bedroom or living room. Even on higher speeds, the noise is more of a gentle white noise than an annoying fan sound. The setup was quick and easy. Connecting it to the app took just a few minutes, and I like being able to check the air quality, adjust settings, and set schedules right from my phone. The Auto Mode does a great job of increasing and decreasing fan speed based on the air quality in the room, so I rarely have to think about it. Within a few days, the air in our home felt fresher. We noticed less dust collecting on surfaces, and family members with seasonal allergies commented that they were waking up less congested. The unit also handled cooking odors much faster than expected. The only downside is the cost of replacement filters, but that’s fairly standard with quality air purifiers. Considering its performance, energy efficiency, and smart features, it’s a trade-off I’m willing to make. Pros: * Extremely quiet operation * Easy setup and intuitive app * Effective Auto Mode * Helps reduce dust, odors, and allergens * Attractive, modern design * Energy efficient Cons: * Replacement filters can be a bit expensive Overall: 5/5 stars. If you’re looking for a reliable smart air purifier that actually makes a noticeable difference in your home’s air quality, the BLUEAIR Blue Pure 311i Max is an excellent choice.

CR Recommended and very well built! Works great and easy setup.
So far, we are very pleased with Blue Air! We purchased a Pure 211i Max for our large living area and a 311i Max for our master bedroom. They both work really well and we leave the 211i on Auto and both are quiet. If you vape or smoke, it kicks in very high for a short time then returns to a very low operating state. We program the 311i to maximum speed at night for sleep noise and love it. We've noticed a lot less dust and our house smells better too. These units get a good rating on Consumer Reports and they appear to be very well designed and made. Easy operation, just wish the filters were a little cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend Blue Air!

Great Product, Filter Lasted Longer Than Advertised
I purchased two of these Air Purifiers in April of last year (currently February, ~10 months later) and am extremely pleased with the results and effectiveness of the product. I live in Brooklyn, NY in a railroad style apartment (one side facing street near-ish a busy road, the other side facing an interior courtyard) and I purchased two 311i Maxs. One is in the the threshold between the kitchen/living area and bedroom area and the other is in the main "bedroom" that faces the street. The threshold between rooms is high traffic, so lots of dust and particulates get swept around when I walked between the rooms of the apartment. Immediately I noticed that the dust accumulation in the living and bedroom area became much more gradual. The purifier itself also traps a TON of dust clumps on the cloth outer filter that needs to be cleaned periodically but I am happy to know that it is certainly doing its job. The bedroom purifier also is doing well, but its a much lower traffic area of the apartment so it doenst need to be cleaned as often. The advertised filter live is 6 months. However, after 10 months the high traffic air purifier's filter is just about at 15% and I purchased a replacement. For context, I run it constantly at its lowest setting and have it automatically adjust to a medium high setting for two hours each evening from 5-7pm (this is usually when I am cooking and honestly, not even sure if this is necessary). I am extremely impressed with the durability of the filters in this capacity. Noise wise, I couldn't be happier. They certainly have gotten marginally louder over time (likely due to filter age) but really not bad at all. My (aging) refrigerator's cool cycle is louder than these things. I'm an audio engineer so I use my ears for a living and am particularly sensitive especially when I am working or trying to go to sleep. Not only is the purifier's noise imperceptible from more than 10 or so feet away, but I have on running all day in my studio where I work and I don't have to turn it off except to record exceptionally quiet sources. To be fair, this is all on the lowest setting. The higher settings are certainly noticeable, but about the same volume as my Mideas air conditioner. The app also works great. When there was renovations happening in the apartment below mine, I was able to periodically check in on the particulate levels while I was out for work and adjust the purifiers intensity as needed to make sure no unwanted drywall or wood dust settled in my apartment. The indicators on the units are helpful as well to see the air quality change when cooking or lighting...erm "incense" and know that the purifiers are doing their job and keeping the house clean and odor free. You can have the filters auto-set depending on particulate levels but honestly, they work so fast at the lowest setting I rarely find myself manually upping the intensity of the fan unless there is a serious cooking/smoke mishap or something similar. You're probably better off just keeping them on low 90% of the time. Recommend these to folks all the time as I do to you, dear reader.

A Game Changer for Our Living Situation – Just One Small Flaw
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5 Stars “A Game Changer for Our Living Situation – Just One Small Flaw” This air purifier has truly been a lifesaver for our family. We’ve been living in a hotel room with our kids for the past two years due to the rising cost of living, and having clean air in a small space 24/7 is essential. This device has made a noticeable difference in our room’s air quality — we use it constantly. What we love most is the app integration. It alerts you when it’s time to change the filter, gives you updates on your air quality, and even allows you to order replacement filters directly through the app. That kind of convenience is priceless for a family like ours. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to one design issue. Our toddler — who’s almost 3 and full of curiosity — managed to drop a pen into the fan area. It chopped the pen in half and left ink everywhere. While we were able to remove the pen and clean it, the real challenge was getting to the fan mechanism. It required removing screws and disassembling part of the unit, which felt out of place since the rest of the design is very user-friendly. If there’s one suggestion I could offer the manufacturer, it would be to make the fan compartment more easily accessible for maintenance, especially for families with small children. That said, we absolutely love this purifier and highly recommend it to anyone who needs reliable, round-the-clock air purification in a compact space. It’s been a game changer for our home away from home.

Get the 311i Max Purifier - Backed by Amazing Customer Service
This air purifier changed our lives by eliminating fine dust (due to living in a windy desert). Our home stayed clean and allergies were greatly reduced. I sang it's praises and even gave one as a gift. But one month before the 12 month warranty expired, it just stopped working. I contacted customer service who replied quickly with 4 different procedures to try. Nothing worked. So they promptly sent a new unit - Hooray! But less than 2 months later it did the same thing, just kept turning itself off. I almost cried, because I REALLY like this unit - it's quiet, efficient, easy to maintain with a valuable phone app. So again I emailed Customer Service, who replied the SAME DAY (who does that?). Without any questions or insinuations - a new unit was sent the next day. I'm hoping it was just a weird fluke that both units did the same thing and this one will hum along for several years, because IT REALLY WORKS - providing clean air.

Great purifier, couple it with app for full control
This air purifier works very well, and when coupled with the app, gives you full control over all functionality. Other reviews mention the "lights are too bright" on this purifier - you can turn those off completely from the app. I love this as both a white noise machine and an air purifier. You can turn the fan all the way down (zero noise) or up all the way (solid air flow + white noise!)

Buy it. Works well, looks great, noiseless in auto mode.
The BlueAir purifiers are the best looking on the market, and they have the tech to match. I love the app – being able to track your air quality like that is fantastic. This is my larger/main unit positioned in my living room/hallway area where a lot of airflow and foot traffic is, and it's fantastic. It's the only purifier on the market I've seen that I don't mind having in my living room because it looks clean and sophisticated. The auto mode is soundless, which I LOVE, and even when you crank the fans up, it's not loud or bothersome whatsoever. Definitely one of the most premium options on the market in both looks and operation. Works great at removing dust and keeping the house fresh. Love!

Quiet. Cool interface. Looks nice. Really happy with this air cleaner.
Great machine. You pay for the quality but it's quality you get. I use it in my bedroom for allergy season. On night mode, it is impossible to hear. On level one, you can barely hear it. I keep it on level one. Automatic works well - the speed increased when I had a smoky air fry. The design is nice, and well thought out. The fabric prefilter is super easy to remove and wash. The Bluetooth connection works well and it's nice to see the current and history of how clean the air is. There are no cons here. Great unit.

Excellent air purifier
I purchased this air purifier to supplement a larger Blueair unit (211i MAX) have for cleaning the majority of our 1171 sq ft condo. This purifier sits in the main hallway to cover areas the larger Blueair unit does not. The setup was fast out of the box. Wi-Fi is enabled, so it was just a case of adding it to my BlueAir app on my phone and connecting it to my home network. The device provides detailed air quality readings on the app and can be programmed for on/off schedules, display brightness and air filter life; the latter is important to know when deciding to reorder new filters. Maintenance is quite easy: each month, I vacuum the outer pre-filter and open the unit (turn power off) to vacuum the filter chamber. The app will advise if the pre-filter needs cleaning. There is a geofence option [called 'Welcome Home', to turn the purifier off if you are away at least 3 km and turn it on within the radius. The unit is well-made and does the job and why I purchased a second unit.

Worth every penny
Virtually silent on 1st setting and sound goes up accordingly. It will definitely keep the air clean especially with smoke. The app is easy to use and has the full manual on it. You can set it on daily timers. They have made everything user friendly.

Smart Control sucks
I ordered this to replace Levoit air purifiers. Had two that both quit the same way (electronics). So far this seems to be an adequate replacement. The 360 degree intake is good. Pulls air through well isn’t too loud. There is a bit of a hum noise on the highest fan speed. Not sure it will be set there often anyhow. App control works ok. I mean there really isn’t a lot of options on these things anyhow. I have my echo device connected. It can only turn the unit on or off. The Levoit had no issue with setting auto or fan speed. The Blueair 311i Max cannot perform these simple voice commands. The echo says ok and I see a light on the Blueair change but it doesn’t change to my requested setting. Not sure what the deal is. Guessing firmware but there is no information about checking if there is an update available in the app and very little online info. Could save on filters if subscribing and also registering gives 3 year warranty. If honored then that’s better than Levoit. Only had it for a few days so I’m hoping for better longevity but who knows these days? I bought the Amazon replacement warranty due to my previous experience with the other brand. Update: Jan. 19th. The Alexa app helped me to control the purifier by voice control. I created three Alexa routines to control fan speeds and the auto setting. This is working ok so far and I hope this helps anyone out there from frustration with the Blueair skill Update: the app for Smart Control sucks badly. It loses connectivity. It’s fragile and I’ve never owned a smart device that gives me as much of a hassle that this one does. Buy it for manual control. Don’t buy it for wireless control as you will be frustrated. If you like troubleshooting like deleting devices from apps and adding again then creating new routines over and over then have at it

BLUE AIR 311i Max Air Purifier - Works great
Eady to hook up to Wifi... Been using now for 3 weeks... Air feels so much cleaner no longer wake up with congested throat. Also noticed much less dust. When I made fried chicken in oil, the purifier is at other end of the house and you can see light turn red as there is a sensor and it soaks up the smell of oil pretty quickly and light turns back to blue which is normal.. Very happy that I bought this Air purifier. I will get the smaller one for the bedroom, 411i Max Judy
