Incredible!
Haven't even played with it much yet but had to express my excitement. Some youtube reviews I saw said you had to have this mic close to your face for it to work. This is not the case. Just hooked it up and out of the box, at about 18 inches away, it picks up my whispers on the lowest setting. I need to add the software but I can already tell this mic is exactly what I needed. Plugged the mic in to my pc, my IEMs in to the mic and it all immediately worked. Have it chillin next to my monitor and it is out of the way and works great. I love that the volume on the mic is only for mic input and output sound is still controlled from my keyboard as normal, even with IEMs plugged in to the mic. This is a great set up. It's a cool looking unit as well. I see no cons as of yet. Grab one of these and some good, cheap IEMs like Fanmusic TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero:RED and you're in business. Better than headphones in higher price ranges.

A Good Product at a GREAT Price - With Good Customer Service
Love this mic on my desk. It looks great and sounds good (or at least my friends say they hear me loud and clear). The sound quality overall when recording myself through nvidia shadow-play is sharp and in Discord and In-Game everyone can hear me clearly. The noise cancellation is somewhat effective at lower settings but can sometimes clip out my voice when turned up too high. The touch controls on the microphone are easy to use though I do occasionally change colors by accident when trying to use the mute button. I initially had some issues with upgrading the firmware but they released a standalone firmware that is not part of the Noise Cancellation software. It will update the device successfully to the current 1.07 release. I cannot tell too much difference in the mic since the update but it's performance remains at least the same. Also my contact with the seller during the troubleshooting phase of the software was very helpful, courteous, and professional. I'd recommend buying this from the seller to others.

It works on linux now :)
I bought this knowing full well it wouldn't work on windows, I wrote dmg20-linux a linux control panel for this mic, just google it, works great and adds all windows features in a control panel you can use in linux. Sound quality was bad on linux with noise cancellation, it was hard coded to 85% level, which made my voice cut out when enabled, without some good linux software, I would have had to use a windows VM or Mac to change settings, and then move the mic back to the linux PC. Thanks Maono, great mic for my needs, just wish you supported linux, btw it's MIT licensed open source, just search reddit.

More good than bad.
This arrived and i have been playing around with it. over all i am happy with it but there are a few flaws which might not be big to some, but i didnt care for them. Yes people are right when they say this feels like cheap plastic. At this price point thats not an issue with me. The stuff i dont like is POP FILTER- no way around it, it sucks. it only goes in one way and not very effective. I pulled it off (no easy task) and just add my own pop filter. SOFTWARE- yeah not good at all, though you dont really need drivers and such. SHOCK MOUNT- my biggest gripe. i HATE that its built in. That means if it dies you are not really given much of a choice. i would have loved it were the mount to be seperate so i can change it out when it goes bad, and yes they do go bad. PLUG IN- the choice of placement really sucks. The USB-C is located up under the shock mount so its not easy to get to. Thats the bads but for the good it sounds good and doesnt break the bank. All in all its not bad certainly not at the price.

Works As Expected! 👍🏻
This REALLY inexpensive desktop mic ($34.95!) has the features THIS "Oldster" needs and appreciates. The clarity is about as good as it gets, with the mid-tones not being as mushy or tinny as quite a few mics under $50 sometimes sound, IMHO. And I like that it comes in its desktop stand, but also a separate piece for attaching to a boom_ VERY nice touch! :-) Oh, and the mic is suspended with a 4-point shock-cord system! If ya enjoy light shows, this thing has all the primary colors to choose plus some extra, some solid in color while others having a graduation from top-to-bottom two-color effect. You can choose from solid to a sort of pulsing, have it going from color-to-color, OR simply turn it off, and it is VERY simple with the touch of the button! The 'pattern' is very noticeable. When recording wile slowly turning the mic to talk at all the angles, there is a VERY noticeable drop when turning to the back of the mic. The side rejection, while not as significant as the back, is still very good! This is not a mic well suited for table use regarding several people having a meeting around the table. This mic is primarily used for being about 6-to-12 inches from the face. I would think the PERFECT use would be to have each person with this mic in from of their mouths, mounted on a boom arm... VERY directional. The noise-cancelling is really good. I had a loud radio program talk show, easily picked up by the mic, about 14 feet away, with the speaker at about a 45° angle to my front-left. While the radio's audio was not 100% reduced when noise-cancelling enabled, it was VERY much reduced. The ONLY 'con' I have is the large gain control knob at the bottom. It is extremely easy to turn, so you can accidentally nudge it while say moving it around the desk. When I get a chance, I might just put a piece of tape over the knob at the max setting to keep that from happing... I'm lazy, and have no use for the gain being less than max on the mic. And the pop-screen is a nice touch. If you are looking to get a very affordable desk-top microphone with a great sound result, for use directly in front of the face, I really can't think why THIS one shouldn't suit the need.

10/10 for price and quality
I have bought many mics over the years, headset combos, blue yeti just so many different variants. This replaced them all. Don't need extra software to function, small enough for travel, RBG is kinda cool but have it turned off most of the time. Great sound quality and easy setup with it just being plug and play.

Great starter USB microphone
I purchased this USB mic because I was taking an online college foreign language class that required recorded audio feedback to the lessons and the webcam mic I was using was crap for this purpose. So, I set up this DGM20 mic from Maono on a boom (purchased separately) and it is a nice clean install and puts the mic exactly where I need it and it doesn't block the screen. When I plugged the mic in, Windows automatically installed the driver and recognized it as the DGM20. Easy to turn the mic on or mute and noise cancelling on and off. Pretty chill changing LED colors inside of the DGM20 body also that can be switched on and off. The software that manages the mic tells you there is an update (v.1.0.9) available for the noise-cancelling feature...but every time I tried to perform the update it just froze. I contacted support via email and was assisted immediately. We went back and forth several times trying to get the update to work trying various fixes. They finally sent me a new executable file to try and that fixed it! Support was great for this product and very helpful...I was impressed.

What a product
I recently upgraded my gaming setup with the USB Gaming Microphone, and it has completely transformed my streaming and gaming experience. Firstly, voice clarity is exceptional with this microphone. The one-key noise cancellation function is a game-changer—it effectively suppresses background noise with a simple long press, ensuring that my voice comes through crystal clear whether I'm streaming gameplay, chatting with friends, or recording podcasts. The cardioid polar pattern focuses directly on the sound in front of the mic, further enhancing voice clarity and minimizing unwanted ambient noise. One of the standout features is the stunning RGB lighting. This microphone doesn't just perform well—it looks amazing too. The RGB lighting offers dynamic multicolor, breathing light, or static solid color modes, allowing me to customize the lighting to match my gaming setup and mood. It adds an immersive layer to my gaming environment, creating a visually appealing atmosphere that enhances my gaming performance and overall experience.

Great microphone
Took a little while getting Microsoft on my PC to play nice with the new device but the microphone was exactly as required. I turned off the flashy rgb lights and have a quality non-intrusive microphone with excellent noise suppression.
