Mum's been needing a hip replacement for quite a while and got so bad she couldn't get in/out of the bath or stand at all in the shower.This chair has been fantastic. Sturdy, big robust and effective suckers anchoring it securely, and foam covered handles to help her get up (and to use to steady herself while getting in to the shower).There's nothing wrong with this item. I've not felt at all worried about her using it and I can heartily recommend it.I thought I'd share some important information I wish I'd had, in case it helps anyone else.I measured mum's shower tray. It appears big, but the tray itself has a pronounced curve from the wall edge down to the flat area in its middle. The flat area measures: width at opening, 670mm x depth from opening to back, 570mm (27.6" x 22.4").The chair sits easily in the width. Unfortunately, because of the curve, the chair can't be pushed right back against the rear wall opposite the opening. This leaves only about 3" of flat surface at the opening for mum to stand in. The chair's suckers need a flat area to anchor to you see - they won't stick well to the curve. 3" and a curve makes it hard to turn to sit, and entering the shower backwards is quite a move.She did manage it a few times, and was absolutely made-up with being able to enjoy a nice hot soothing shower in privacy.I hope that helps you assess whether this chair is right for your shower.Mum's now had her hip done, and she cannot twist for 6 weeks. The lack of room for her to turn easily is now a real stopper, sadly.Again, the chair is excellent, so if it fits your shower with room to move infront of it, then I can absolutely recommend it.

Heavy-duty and stable. Easy to fit together and looks good. Only negative was the blue cushioning. Doesn't make any difference other than cosmetic?

Life savier!Cannot take showers for a few weeks following an operation so happy to be able to clean myself without risk of falling with my crutches.Sturdy built, really good quality, worth the money!Definitely recommend for people with limited mobility

Very stable and comfortable, good height, will not move when sectioned to floor (may need assistance to reposition). This dies mean it provides solid & stable support if needing to using the armrests for stability when transitioning.The blue things on backrest & seat are optional and not needed (and looks better without them).Easy to clean.Did need putting together in the shower so bear in mind if you have a narrow shower opening.Should be cheaper, it's cost is somewhat prohibitive for those with a reduced income due to disability.Recommend.

The chair seems to be well designed and also well made.It's also relatively easy to construct, despite the instruction leaflet failing to tell you to fit the legs.However: Important note.Maximum weight is clearly stated as 300lbs and NOT 330lbs as shown on Amazon website.

I bought this for my 97 year old mother to use in the shower. She is under 5' tall and the height, not extended at all, is perfect for her. The padding on the seat makes a difference to her and she has mentioned that it's more comfortable than the hard plastic seat that she had before. I wasn't sure about having arms on the chair, thinking they might get in the way but she says it feels much sturdier and safer now. They can be collapsed as well but she likes to use the arms to help her in and out of the chair. Very pleased with this chair.

This chair was so easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear. The seat and back are so comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

Have recently had issues with balance and after a fall in the shower, decided to buy this chair. It arrived on time, in good condition and was easy to put together. The instructions in the box were not the best, but the video on the site for this article was very helpful. The suction cups on the chair adhere very well to the shower floor. This chair is good quality for price and increases my sense of security.
