As described but VERY expensive
This product arrived quickly and in minimal packaging. To start, these bowels are as described. They are heavy duty and very thick. The bowels hold water without leaking for a very long time and the fact that they are compostable is a benefit. That being said, these bowels are extremely overpriced. you only get about 150, you can get paper plates at your local store for for a fraction of that price. I would love to use these compostable ones but the price isn't feasible.

Nice Bowls That Will Come In Very Handy!
We do quite a bit of entertaining in the summer time. I do a lot of BBQ'ing and sometimes we may have as many as 15 people over for a summer BBQ so we go through a lot of disposable plates and bowls. I always makes sides like pit beans, coleslaw etc. that requires bowls so these will most certainly get used. They are just the right size for my purposes. They are compostable but I'm guessing most of these will find their way into the bon fire that we always have after dinner.I have not removed them from the packaging yet as I am not ready to use them. The description states there is no coating and you can see the kind of weave of how they are manufactured in the picture. I'm going to be curious to see if these bowls will absorb the food you put in and eventually get soggy. I guess I will have to wait to see and if that is a problem I will edit this review to reflect that. At 22 cents each it is a good value and you are getting your moneys worth.

Made in China. Pricey. Nice for things like soup and ice cream.
These bowls are made of bagasse, which is the left over fiber after sugarcane has been processed. So they are a type of paper. They are fairly sturdy. Though they show that they hold 12 ounces, that’s if they are full. If you’re using them for something like soup, then you probably will not want to put more than 10 ounces in the bowl if that.Though the listing shows that these are microwave-safe, as well as refrigerator safe… In reality… A longer something sits in them… The soggier they will become. Nonetheless, they were quite well for things you’re going to eat immediately such as soup… Ice cream… And so on.These goals are made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of thirty-three bucks they are crazy overpriced. Ten bucks would be much more appropriate.

Almost Perfect Bowls
These are sturdy paper bowls. They're able to to into your compost, if that's something you're into. They have two drawbacks that keep them from being perfect bowls. First, they're actually pretty small. They're deep enough to make up for the lack of circumference, but they're still small. Second, they're paper, so if you're place liquid into them, it'll sweat through the bottom. I've microwaved items in these before, only to found liquid gathering underneath these when I was done. But you get so many in this order, you can just double them and be fine. Recommend.
