IQShield Screen Protector Compatible with OnePlus 5T Anti-Bubble Clear TPU Film

So it's not the perfect screen protector. The one that came on the 5T is slightly better. But this is by far the better choice compared to tempered glass. This one has better screen coverage, reaches edge to edge. Has good clarity and sensitivity. You can put whatever case you want on it. Phones with curved glass edges like the 5t and pixel and S8 is just hard to find a decent tempered glass protector. These film style ones are different but not in a bad way. Installation is recommended before you go to bed. Watch their YouTube video for installation instructions. I love it tho. I'm sticking with it. No rainbow effect or bubbles. I'm good with that.

I didn't realize what I was getting into with this screen protector, having been used to dry-apply screen protectors that I found a lot less difficult to install. With the 5T, I had to tape the front speaker holes to avoid getting the solution in them, as well as the side. You can't remove the battery so you just have to hope you don't screw up enough to ruin your device... ridiculous. The video was good enough, but not enough to outshine the inept design of this product. Why introduce spraying water all over your device? Not recommended.

The cutouts in the screen protector didn't line up with the ear speaker, camera, etc. When installing, I lined up the cutouts to be as centered as possible (earpiece cutout was too small). This caused the entire screen protector to be shifted to the right and down so their was a significant overlap on the right and a bit short on the left and top. then the bottom hung over by 1/8" - way to much to adhere because it overlapped the curved edge of the screen. I had to cut the excess off carefully with an Xacto knife which did not leave an ideal edge. Overall, I was unimpressed and would not buy this screen protector again for a 5T. For the price and other positive reviews, I expected better. I have installed dozens of screen protectors for myself and family members. This is the worst fitting screen protector I have ever installed. I questioned whether or not it was even made for this phone, but the cutouts appeared to be for a 5T.

I haven't reviewed anything in a while, but I had to come review this one. I just had my 5T repaired a few weeks ago, so I removed my tempered glass protector, and it was to be discarded. Once I got my phone back, I ordered my replacement. It was intended to be a tempered glass one, but either I didn't like the black borders around the screen protector as they LITERALLY interfered with the view on the screen, or the reviews were just not what I was hoping for. So, I took a chance and skipped on the tempered glass, bought this instead. I haven't had a non-tempered-glass protector in a long time so I figured I'd see how these have come along.Now, the installation is unusually involved, I have to say. But, the company has a YouTube video detailing the exact steps you need to take to apply it perfectly and without bubbles. Was I able to do it? Well, no. But my room is dusty as all holy hell and every screen protector I've ever owned has gotten a few bubbles under it, so I wouldn't fault them for this.All that being said, the instructions they gave were super helpful. Were I in a better spot (which, by the way, I've heard that a steamy bathroom after a shower is a great spot because it weighs down all the dust from the air), I think I could have applied this one without any bubbles, which would have been a first for me. And even then, I only got two annoying bubbles under it.Now for functionality. I'm not too keen on throwing my phone every which way, I try to avoid dropping it out of windows, and I'm bored of placing my phone in the street, so I don't know how well it would protect again cracking. Since it's just a membrane, I can't imagine that it would at all. But that's not what it's meant to do. It's meant to protect it from scratches. And so far, not a single scratch. I'm an electrician, so sometimes this beautiful phone would get stuffed into the same picked as pliers, screwdrivers, levels, pump pliers, wrenches, lots of stuff that should scratch up your phone. Not the slightest bit of damage has come to my screen.And not only that, but you would think that that level of protection would come at the cost of an uncomfortable feeling when swiping across the screen. But this thing has been a genuine pleasure. It feels great and it protects well.Now, again, I'm a tempered glass guy. For my last tempered glass protector, I paid less for a two-pack of them than I did for this. I was skeptical about the value, but I am now a believer. This screen protector is WORTH more than a pair of tempered glass screen protectors. If you're looking for a screen protector that'll take care of your screen, you've found it. This would of gotten a 5 out of 5 but only got a 4 , reason being is that it wasn't compatible with my Spigen case or should i say my Spigen case isn't compatible with this screen protector. You need to follow the instructions to the T in order to get the perfect install. which is what i did.Pros: 1.It fits the Oneplus 5T perfectly almost edge to edge. 2. It feels great scrolling with this protector almost like glass..almost 3. It crystal clear, screen looks like it has no screen protector, no grassy look.Cons: 1. I had to cut the inside of my Spigen Case with a blade, in order for the screen protector to stay on. 2. You only get one screen protector in the package, i was hoping for two. so don't mess up the install, watch the Youtube video!

Best protector I've found for the 5T. The 5T's screen is slightly curved around the edges; you will not find a tempered glass cover you are happy with, as they will never adhere around the edges.This protector is a flexible film that does adhere all around and becomes quite invisible (even better than the one that came with the phone). Don't just assume you know what you're doing though; watch the install video. It is not difficult at all, but there's some drying time involved to achieve best results on the edges.Some here have downvoted because the material is soft. Yes, it can be dented, it's not glass. But the dents self-heal. You can dent it with your nail; 15 minutes later that dent will be gone.

Have had this on my phone about 2 years, still looks great, no peeling and the bubbles you see when applying disappear after a few days.

Its fine its not like the others ive had it on for couple months does not scratch an easy to clean but not sure if it would protect my screen if i drop my phone its been like 6 months now an its coming off loosing its stickyness
