Westinghouse Wave Form Ceiling Fan - Titanium

Installation: Relatively straight-forward, first step is to securely mount the bracket on the ceiling. This needs to be a good strong fixing, this fan is heavy and powerful. Fortunately, the ceiling bracket incorporates clip together cabling and once the bracket is securely fixed, actually putting the fan in place is easy. Note that the description is ambiguous, this fan requires it's drop rod, and so you must check your ceiling height. This fan is not suitable for low ceilings. The next step is to fit the blades which are manufactured in light but strong plastic, this is fiddly as it always is with ceiling fans. Once the blades are fitted, the drop rod is fitted to the top and the whole assembly can be hung from the bracket. The cabling is clipped together and then the bulb and cover is fitted. The remote control receiver has to be fitted into the bracket and there really isn't enough room for the cables within the bracket cover so that is a bit of a challenge. The bulb is a halogen R7S, and there are LED replacements, although I haven't tried that yet.Looks: It looks like a quality fan, certainly better than the usual B&Q fan and worth the extra for that alone. It is big and makes it's own statement.Operation: The unit comes with its own remote control which operates the light dimmer, and three fan speeds. You have to be fairly close and pointing directly at the IR receiver to use it. It would be helpful to have a small light to indicate that the fan has received your instruction. The dimmer works well and the fan is virtually silent at speeds 1 and 2. Speed 3 is very powerful and still not that loud.We are very pleased with the fan, installation time was about an hour.

1st class fan, as in life, you get what you pay for, wasn't cheap but worth every penny and yes, I would buy another one if I decide to fit one somewhere else.

A big fan well constructed. Its heavy so needs attaching to a ceiling rafter. The remote works well. Reversable for winter or summer use. Three power settings but I bet no one ever uses the top setting, it'll blow your wig off!

This fan looks really nice when installed, but as a fan it's not very good. It doesn't create a fast air flow. I have it in the conservatory, and on hot days I can hardly feel any cool air flow. But as a piece of ceiling art, it's great.

This is a HUGE fan! far too big for domestic use, unless you have really really high ceilings. If you do.... hand on to something, 'cos the fan you will blow you off course!!

I've had this fan for around 6 years now and use it all the time mainly on the number 1 setting or number 2 but during the summer will use it on number 3 - expensive but you will eventually get your money's worth I think it looks awesome as well and also use the dimming feature a lot

Bello e ben costruito, si monta abbastanza facilmente e anche da soli grazie all'ingegnosa staffa, e si nota subito che è un prodotto di qualità. Silenzioso, fa una piacevole aria senza infastidire anche alla terza velocità. Alla prima velocità è praticamente muto. Il telecomando è comodo e "furbo": quando non occorre il ventilatore lo si può tenere via e accendere la luce semplicemente dal solito interruttore a muro.Unici piccoli nei di un prodotto strepitoso: la lampada R7S consuma un bel po' ma può essere agevolmente sostiuita con una a led (lo farò presto) dato che il vano è spazioso, e il copristaffa in alto è un po' piccolo quindi bisogna fare una discreta fatica per farci stare tutti i cavi e l'elettronica di controllo, ma alla fine ci si riesce.

Der Ventilator ist erste Klasse. Sieht auf den Bildern hochwertiger aus als er wirklich ist. Die Plastikflügel sind Matt lackiert und das sieht bei weitem nicht so aus wie auf den Bildern. Mich stört es nicht aber muss auch mal erwehnt werden. Die Kritik ist auch nur auf die Farbe bezogen weil das Design an sich uns und jedem der uns besucht sofort ins auge fällt.Im Betrieb (Stufe 1) garnicht zu hören. Selbst meine Frau die da sehr pingelig ist hört nichts.Wir benutzen nur den Winterbetrieb damit die Wärme unseres Kamins besser verteilt wird und das funktioniert zu 100%.Also von uns aus eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Jetzt zu Amazon:Die Liefeung war wie immer sau schnell und das schreibt ja beinahe jeder der dort einkauft. Es müssenaber auch andere Sachen erwähnt weren.Wir sind auf keinem Fall zufrieden und möchten das auch anderen mitteilen. Gerade weil es jetzt schon zum zweiten mal passierte und wir das nicht akzeptieren.Ich bestelle auf Rechnung und bekomme keine. Nicht mit der Lieferung und auch nicht danach. Knappe vier Wochen später bekomme ich aber sofort ein Mahnung wo gleich 6€ für berechnet werden. Per Email hat man uns aber eine Zahlungserrinerung zugeteilt. Ich hänge nicht jeden Tag am Computer.Wenn ich auf Rechnung bestelle dann hat das einen Grund und der lautet "ich will eine haben".Gleich 6€ Mahngebügren zu verlangen und das keine 4 Wochen später, ist in meinen Augen lächerlich.Dazu kommt noch das mein Konto vrrübergehend gestperrt wurde. Es hat noch nie ein Versandhaus auf eine meiner Zahlungen länger als eine Woche warten müssen. Vorausgesetzt er hat mir eine Rechnung zugeschickt.Was mir noch aufgefallen ist das sehr viele Artikel bei Media Markt, Saturn u.s.w. wesentlich billiger sind als bei Amazon. Ich frage mich wie das sein kann. Vielleicht da mal etwas länger drüber nachdenken.Beispiel: Einen Wärmepumpentrockner habe ich letzte Woche 120€ billiger bei Media Markt bekommen. Und das war kein Sonderangebot. Ich Hoffe nicht daß hier die jenigen die nicht mobil sind ausgenommen werden. Oder nutzt man hier die Bequemlichkeit online zu bestellen in den Massen aus?Also ich werde bei Amazon nicht wegen der vorrübergehenden Kontosperrung anrufen. Wegen mir kann das Konto gesperrt bleiben. Ich gehe sehr gerne an die frische Luft und mache mir einen schönen Tag. Denn den Preisvorteil gibt es bei einer Onlinebestellung nicht mehr. Zumindens nicht bei Amazon.Die 6€ Mahngebühren habe ich mit überwiesen aber für die Zukunft bin ich mal wieder eine Erfahrung reicher.

Durante mucho tiempo he estado dudando sobre comprar un ventilador de techo.Me decanté por este modelo por las valoraciones en las tiendas extranjeras de amazon.Respecto a estas, es más barato en amazon.es que en el resto de tiendas de amazon.El ventilador viene desmontado en una caja, que pesa lo suyo. El montaje es relativamente sencillo, siguiendo las instrucciones no hay mayor problema, en media hora lo tenía montado. Lo único que mejoraría es que hay un driver que gestiona el ventilador que va encajado en un espacio extremadamente pequeño y es muy dificil colocar este driver y los cables.Respecto al funcionamiento, se maneja desde un mando a distancia por infra-rojos, que tiene un buen alcance, no hace falta apuntar exactamente al receptor.Para encender y apagar la luz, usaremos los interruptores de la habitación y para regular la luz o encender y apagar el ventilador, usaremos el mando a distancia.La bombilla viene incluida y es una halogena lineal RS7. Tambien se incluyen las pilas del mando.Tiene 3 velocidades, en la primera, perfecta para la noche, no se escucha absolutamente nada el ventilador y genera una corriente de aire suave, para las noches que no hace excesivo calor es perfecta.Cuando tenemos noches calurosas, la posición dos es perfecta, mueve mucho aire y el ruido es bastante aceptable. Se cambia mediante un switch en el cuerpo del ventilador y hace que se invierta el giro, con lo cual, en vez de hacer que baje el aire, lo impulsa hacia arriba, haciendo que circule. Solo con ponerlo un minuto, la temperatura de la habitación ha subido entre 1º y 2º. Al principio, parece que enfría (por la brisa que genera), pero realmente hace que se mezcle el aire. Ho acquistato 2 ventilatori uguali ma in tempi diversi.Questo modello a tre pale è veramente ottimo, silenzioso ed è uno dei pochi che ha una lampada alogena a basso consumo.Il montaggio è semplice basta seguire le istruzioni dettagliatissime.Consiglio ottime viti a pressione ed in metallo perché il ventilatore pesa abbastanza,.Si possono montare tutte tre le pale prima di appenderlo perché rimane abbastanza spazio per sistemare il sensore, il telecomando. i connettori e tutti i fili.Il tempo di consegna con "prime" è strepitoso....è arrivato dopo due giorni.
